[Red as Asch's hair now. DX] I-I said shut it! Forget I even offered already! [Huffs!]

Have no fear. Only others of our kind should be able to detect it. [ Floats closer to him~ ] If you insist.

...Wonderful. [Mutters, crosses his arms over his chest and looks away from him. He paid no mind as he floated closer... like he said, he wished him no harm.]

[ Upon drawing close he took to hovering behind Luke to sniff his neck area, attracted by the lingering traces of blood. The desire to bite was strong, but as he explained to the human, it wouldn't do to encroach on another's territory. ]

[The boy feels the faint brush of breath on his neck and gives a small shiver.] You're very hungry... You shouldn't waste energy floating...

[Slightly concerned tone. He couldn't help it, he looked and felt so much like his Asch.]

[ The worry both amused and baffled him; was this one a fool to so readily believe all he was told? With a little work it would be easy to make him into a willing source of food. ] True that may be, my body is weaker still than my spirit.

[ That was to say, if he were to land, he might just collapse from not having used his body in so long. So he kept drifting in orbit around him, all but allowing his teeth to touch skin. ]

[Small amused snort. Funny choice in words from a creature with no soul.] Perhaps you should get yourself some food then...

[Small jolts and shivers ran down his spine whenever he felt the brush of fangs. His chuckles shoulders shrugging for some cover when it started to tickle.] That tickles, you prat.

[ He laughed quietly as well. ] And risk losing my newfound entertainment?

[ Before drifting around to face the human, he grazed said shoulder with his teeth. ] Be glad that is all you feel...

[Swallows and parts his lips, letting out a soft sigh. He hadn't even noticed his eyes were closed until he opened them again and was face to face with this new Asch. His heart beating a little faster and face tinted pink from the teasing.] Is that a threat?

[ It was obvious this little human was more than used to his kind's presence and more. He reached a hand up to trail a claw over the kind of his mirror's neck. ] Not at all. Merely a fact.

[Very used to it. He felt more safe and at home with his Asch than he'd ever felt with his family... once he got over the initial fear of him. Said mirror flinches away when the claw lightly knicks the skin.] Creature… You are testing my patients.

[Turns his head and gives him a look of warning. Just what was he playing at? He was hungry yet had no intent to bite or to hunt for food?]

[ The look only causes the vampire to grin as he continues examining his prey's attire. Perhaps his hunger was clouding his judgment, but toying with him was much too fun at present. ]

Even so, what could you -- a human -- hope to do against me? Catching me off-guard is not the same as taking me on in a head to head fight.

[ Serious his words may be, the tone being used is light, teasing. ]

[Honestly... probably nothing. There was only hope that he could catch him by surprise with some holy water or a wooden arrow if he tried to attack. even his defeat of Van had been sheer luck and a lot of outside help.]

You underestimate me, creature... [Takes a step back to get a little distance. suddenly desiring a little personal space once the Vampire pointed out the obvious threat. Yes, he looked and felt like Asch... but he still wasn't his Asch.]

[ Still, he wasn't keen on adding more injuries to the one he'd already sustained. It was an embarrassment that would have gotten him demoted back at the palace. ]

Do I?

[ He was all too willing to let the human retreat, as it also gave him room to maneuver should it come to blows. Not that he would have much luck in the state he was in; already he felt himself drifting closer to the ground, unable to keep afloat. ]

[Come to blows? hardly. This one was all about defending himself. So long as the creature didn't try to harm he'd keep his weapons holstered.]

You do...

[Takes notice of the Vampire's powers starting to slip.] Seems you over estimate yourself as well... come down already. [Lightly grips his wrist and tries to bring him down already.]

[ One could never be certain with humans; they were fickle, cruel beings that delighted in massacring whatever they saw to be lesser than themselves. ]

I will remain where I am, thank you. [ His attempts to avoid being caught are pointless, as he can't even support his on weight upon landing and collapses. ]

A-ah! Are you okay?! [Has a flash of panic when the vampire collapses. He falls to his kneels in front of him and tries to help him sit back up.] You idiot… Are you a new Vampire? You should take better care of yourself than this!

I am fine. [ Or at least, as well off as he could be, having not eaten nor moved months upon months on end. He doesn't object to assistance verbally, but his expression darkens at being unable to keep himself up. ] New? Hardly. I am no so young as to still be foolish.

Then what's happened to you? [Sighs and keeps his hands on his shoulders to keep him steady. He looked so much like his Asch. It was almost painful to see him in such a weakened state.]

I slept for far too long. One cannot eat while they are asleep and alone. [ Again he tried to stand, this time managing to make it to his feet before falling back to his knees. ]

Doesn't your Luke look after you? [Flinches when the boy falls again and sighs.] Stay down you stubborn arse... You're too weak to move...

[Pulls back the sleeve of his shirt to reveal his wrist.] Eat you fool. My Asch isn't even in this world. I'm sure I'll be long healed before I see him again...

Ha. It is my responsibility to look after him. ...or it was, when he was here. [ Shakes his head as he makes another attempt. ] Nonsense.

[ Yet he pauses on shaking arms at the sight of the human's bare skin. So tempting, to feed and to claim some other vampire's property for his own. ] ....either way risks certain death. [ His hand whips out, grabbing onto the fool's forearm with a vice-like grip; no getting away now that he'd made his choice. Starved or not, Asch had the manners to appreciate the offering by savoring the taste of his skin before drawing his lips back and sinking his fangs in along the vein. ]

[Tenses a little when the creature latches onto his arm. The realization that he just waved an arm in front of a blood thirsty creature seeming to finally sink in... but there was no turning back now. The teen gasps when he feels the fangs pierce his flesh.]

H-ha... [He swallows but makes no move to stop him even as the blood starts to pour from the wound.]

[ Even before the trickle becomes a steady flow he's quick to cover the entire wound with his mouth, letting not a single drop escape. It was clear he would need more than one or perhaps even two humans could provide, and he wasn't going to spoil things by sucking the first one dry. ]

Mmm...

[ A satisfied noise reverberates from the vampire's throat, while his other arm pulls his prey closer. ]

[The pleasant feeling started to take him over and the teen quivers before letting out a small whimper. He either doesn't care or doesn't notice the creature pulling him closer but regardless he still lets his head come to rest on the Vampire's shoulder when he starts to feel dizzy.]

Asch...

[His free hand comes up to weakly grip his shoulder.]
