[Ran is walking down the halls, nose held high in the air as he sniffs around, looking for someone he knows. he's a bit antsy, though, and is having trouble opening doors to peek in...]

...? [yup, following the puppy now]

[keeps going for a little bit before stopping, turning around and running to Asch]

... [kneels down, holding out a hand for him] What are you doing out here all alone...

[nuzzles his hand, then darts away down the hall]

[frowns, getting up to follow after him]

[doesn't even wait for him, focused on going somewhere]

[good thing Asch can keep up, then] Where are you going...

[barks, still running]

[kind of frustrated sigh, just follows]

[leads him to a door leading outside, waiting for him to open it]

...? What the hell has gotten into you... [raises an eyebrow, but does open the door]

[runs out as soon as it's opened, very sure of where he's headed]

[sigh, looks like he'll have to keep following]

[keeps leading, running as fast as he can towards an abandoned house]

[frowns, walking up to it]

[waits for him just outside the door]

[frown more, coming up to open the door] Just what's here that you're so interested in...

[runs in as soon as the door's opened, running straight to the kitchen- the entire house is dark, making it very hard to see anything]

[follows carefully] Damnit, Ran, where the hell are you taking me?

[keeps going to the kitchen - which is covered in blood and dead animals - and stops in the corner, where Asch is curled up]

... [frowns, coming closer] Asch?

[doesn't respond]

Kid... [comes closer, placing a hand on his head lightly]

[looks up, eyes unfocused]

What happened, Asch?
