[Alert! Alert! Kidlet in the kitchen! Looks like he's standing up on his tippy-toes trying to reach something on the counter. He's got this kind of determined expression going on, but every now and then his face turns a little sour and uncomfortable as his tummy growls.

Poor little hungry kid.]

[looks at the kid] It's how they stay alive. He was hungry, so I went to feed him.

[ amazed by her ignorance. just... floored. ] You don't know that. Take a good look around you, would you? You're not home anymore. Not that you should be forcing things on people that don't want them anywhere... [ slowly ushering the kid toward the door, btw. ]

[hides more behind Luke while backing towards the door :<] I-I don't want bad food! Blood isn't food, it's bad to eat! I want Cook's food, 'cause it's good food! I want Cook's food, and I want Big Brother to come get me, and I wanna go home and be with Big Brother and Mama and Papa! I don't wanna see creepy scary people no more!

It's all I know. I've never met a male that didn't need blood. I never met one that didn't want to take advantage of the agreement!

Well learn, then. Unless you're incapable, in which case I'll put you out of your damned bloodsucking misery now. [ turns to the kid and smiles ] Wait outside for me, all right? Don't go anywhere. I'll get you something to eat in a little while.

[sniffle] S-something yummy...? And good food? [not really waiting for an answer, he's gonna run out of the room now]

[laughs, brokenly] Bloodsucked, you mean. The females don't drink blood.

Bloodsucked, then. The point is, you're not where you were. Most people here don't drink blood. If someone doesn't want it, don't fucking force them. Are we clear?

[starting to pull out vegetables and beef] I gave him bread and peanut butter. Not my fault if his reluctance to eat that made me think he'd rather have my blood. [hands start shaking as she gets everything ready]

You'd think that his screaming that alerted my attention would have told you otherwise. [ shakes his head ] Doesn't matter now. I catch you doing this shit again and I'll prevent you from fucking up in the future. This is your only warning. [ and off he goes to check on the traumatized kid. ]

[hands knock everything she's working on onto the floor, skin deathly pale]

[ hesitates only for a moment, glancing over his shoulder before shaking his head and leaving. he's more concerned with the kid. ]

[she's not leaving the kitchen soon. She's going to be kneeling in front of the chopping block, trying not to scream in utter abject remembered terror]
