super scary monsters, OH NOES

[If you are familiar with the holiday 'Halloween', then you likely know that it is a day with a strong connection to all sorts of scary things. This is the day where you can expect all sorts of monsters to come of their hiding places and reek havoc upon the innocent.

That day is fast approaching, and the monsters are getting impatient.

This is one of those monsters.]

Grr grr!

[...At least this one growling by your feet and making ferocious kitty faces just thinks its scary. Up to you to decide how frightening a feline Van actually is.]

[The kitty leans into the touch, purring low. Scritches can be just as good as food, sometimes.]

[Aware of his surrounding and eventually meets a small creature that actually looks familiar?]

[The small creature comes up to him and bares its tiny fangs, attempting to be as frightening as a small thing can be.]

[Knees in front of it and tries to pat]

Hey there little kitten, you lost your way?

[Normally, kitty!Van would show this human the very definition of the word fear. Luckily for him, the feline's in a tolerable enough mood to accept the pat. He'll show the human fear once he's bored.]

[Luke slowly pats the little one as he makes cordial smile]

I wonder you came from. You face do look like Master Van though.

[He tilts his head curiously, twitching his ears slightly. No idea what the human means, but it could be related to him getting some scritches as well.

Perhaps if he were to roll onto his back and paw at the air like so...]

[Unsheathes his sword; well, if Van got turned into a cat, this made things easier...]

[Luke slightly rose his eyebrow, it seemed it understood what he said. As it started to roll, Luke played with his finger to attract it.]

[Van mewls and bats at the finger, giving it a playful bite. At least this human seems smart enough to know whose in charge.]

[Now THIS is a human that his skills of persuasion won't work on. Trying to seem even more frightening, he hisses loudly, fur standing on end.

Not that if may be all that convincing given how small he is and how big the human is and how huge that sharp blade is but, he can try.]

[This kitten shows him how appreciate it is, but Luke has no time to keep patting it. He stands up and stares it far down.]

I must get going, it's too dangerous here. You should get cover too.

[Van swishes his tail and sniffs the odd creature. It seems like it would be tasty enough...and he crouches down, ready to pounce...]

[ajdajld FIRE! He ducks to avoid it, fireball just singeing the very tippy-top of his ears. Clearly, he underestimated the cheagle.]
