The story of Corrupt Asch

/This is the story on how there came to be an Corrupt Asch\

[About a week before Van had unleashed Loreleis full power, in one of Vans secret bases he had created four replicas of each of the God Generals. Out of the four replicas of Asch only one survived, but for the other God Generals replicas no one knows if they survived. The replica of Asch that survived seemed to almost be a perfect replica, but there were a few things off about him. The looks were exact, swordsmanship, voice, and his usual hate for some things. The things off about this replica Asch was that he liked to talk more than the real Asch, as well as his strategies were not as well planned out, but the biggest difference was that this replicas personality was somewhat different, but there are times where his personality was set right.]

[After five years had gone by his main goal was to find Van. After coming into contact with one of the last loyal servants to Van. He had heard that Van might have made a replica of himself somewhere in another base. After asking through different towns he ends up finding himself in a forest.]

At this rate I will never find Van. I wish I could obtain some information from either Luke or Jade, but I don't think that would end up well, and besides there would be no reason they would help. They would only push me away from my goal by looking for him themselves in only attempt to get rid of him.

-He quickly kneels down on the ground of the forest and thrust his hand against the ground in anger.-

Dammit! Damn you Luke.

[Something starts crawling up on the back of Asch and to his surprise it was a cheagle. He snatched the cheagle with swiftness and threw it up high in the air straight above him.]

-Grinning and Laughing out loud-

[Not noticing that he was still standing in the exact same spot that he threw the cheagle, the cheagle came falling down and landed on Aschs head. Leaving Asch in a forest knocked out for hours.]

-While exploring the area around the town Anise came across a rather unusual sight. It seems a familiar red head was taking a nap on the forest floor. She knelt down and nudge his shoulder, trying to wake him before he became too chilled by the cold weather.-

Hey mister wake up!

-Opening his eyes slightly-

[He notices some what of a familiar face, but something was wrong]

Is tha...that you Anise? You look different.

[Just now noticing how cold it was he starts to curl up into a ball]

-Then feeling the pain in his head, he holds his hands to his throbbing head.-

What are you doing ou....out here anyways?

-Anise's eyes widened, so he wasn't just familiar, he knew her too. Was he another friend of hers? She brought Tokunaga around and fished out two apple gels that the colonel gave her and offered it to the man.-

I was out exploring when I came across you in the forest.

-She then wrinkled her nose at his comment-

Different? How am I different?

-Accepting the apple gels. He slurped them right up.-

You seem to be dressed differently...You also seem to have a confused look on your face.

-Eyeballing Anise from head to toe.-

[With a puzzled look on his face, Asch wasn't sure if he should ask her about Van.]

Are you by yourself, or is the replica or Jade here?

-She's only confused because you were confusing her Asch, she nervously shifted as he looked her over, by far not use to that kind of attention.-

Well no one is with me right now but there are plenty of Jades in town...though I don't know what a replica is I'm sure we have that too...

[With a shocking appearance he wondered what she meant "I don't know what a replica is".]

Fine if you don't like me calling him replica...have you seen Luke? Also what do you mean by Jades?

[Asch could tell there was something wrong with Anise, but better not to get ahead of himself.]

-Anise's mouth made a perfect little 'o' once she knew who he was taking about-

Yes there are plenty of Lukes too! And I meant exactly what I meant when I said Jades, there are multiple of people.

[Asch knew there were multiples.]

Making sure I heard you right...I was making sure this bump on my head didn't make me hear you wrong. So what were you exploring for out here in this forest?

[Keeping his guard just in case this was a trap.]

-She titled her head curiously. There are no alternate motives from this little one...not yet anyway.-

Just to check it out, sometimes I find interesting things in the forest. Like you mister~♥

[Lowering his guard a little]

-Whispering to himself- Hmm am I interesting? I'm not sure I am if Van never let me know where his replica was...maybe he never thought any of us would survive...

[Looking back to the happy going Anise]

You know you shouldn't be wondering this forest by yourself!

-Tilts her head curiously-

Why not? Nothing ever bothers me, not even the monsters.

[Lowering his guard completely to her.]

Really? Not even the monsters?

[Asch wondered to himself. Maybe he could use that to his advantage.]

Can I ask you a question, but promise not to let anyone else know I talked to you about this?

-Gives him an unsure look, not sure if she can keep her word depending on what he asked her-

A question like what?

[Worried to ask her]

Would you happen to know if you have heard the rumors about there being a replica of Van?

-Anise tilted her head curiously before looking down in thought.-

I don't know who or what any of those are, but I'm sure they may be there in town.

[Putting his guard back up]

What are you talking about Anise? You know what a replica is. Your were with Luke and Ion all the time. Whats wrong with you? Did you hit your head or something?

[Looking towards Anise is confusion and anger]

-Anise shook her head no. Didn't she explain this to him before? Maybe he was new and didn't know. She shifted uneasily, she didn't like the look he was giving her.-

Actually, yes I did hit my head. I lost all of my memories about 3 months ago and I have only been able to remember one thing solidly since.

[Knowing he had heard about a girl losing her memories, but he wasn't sure if it was true.]

How did you gain one of your memories back?

[If Anise lost all her memories then that meant she didn't know who Asch was.]

-Grinning-

Well...it just sorta happened...I was sewing something when I accidentally poked my finger. And when I saw blood that's when I saw the memory.

-Holding his hand to his chin, Asch started thinking-

So you gain memories through certain actions huh?

Very intriguing...wait..you were talking about a town. Is it near here?

-Points in the direction she came from-

It's 586 steps that-a-way~

-Looking at her weird-

I really don't want to know how you know its that exact amount of steps...but do you know if this town is good for hearing about rumors? And whats the towns name?

The town doesn't have a name but you can ask people around if you like.

A town with no name...

[Asch started thinking to himself about what she had said earlier.]

Well if there are Lukes and Jades there then i should probably avoid that town.

-Whispering to himself- I wonder if I should head for Mt.Roneal..

Anise! Would care to join me in my journey to Mt.Roneal...I am looking for someone, but there maybe a chance I will find some info while there.

Mt.Roneal? I never heard of that place...Plus I'd have to talk with Jade or Dist before suddenly leaving like that...

What? Dist is around?...Why would you have to ask Dist?

-Sigh-

That's right...you lost your memory. Mt.Roneal is basically a snowy mountain range. There is also a town around there where Jade was born at.

-tilts her head curiously-

Why not tell Dist? And I don't think there is a place like that around here. There is only the town and the woods.

[Looking at Anise confused, as if she has never been on a journey.]

Have you never left this town and woods before?

I went to a city before...But it was covered in blood. That's where I met the Luke who said he wasn't human...

-Raising his head in Curiosity-

What did he mean he wasn't human?

[Asch very curious.]

He said he was an arrancar...and died I think...

Are you completely sure he died?

[Fon Master Ion, the original, ruled the wild woods of the dressingroom in lieu of Arietta. He was exploring the cold woods, fully dressed in a thick robe when he came upon an knocked out Asch and the victim cheagle.

How very odd to find an unconscious God General in the middle of nowhere. If he doesn't wake soon, he'll freeze to death.

Ion kneeled down next to the God General and gently tapped him on the shoulder.]

Oye. Asch. Are you all right?

He told me he did...

[Still knocked out, he could hear a voice calling to him. He started to have dream about himself finding the replica of Van, but as he was about to talk to Van the dream started to dim due to the voice of Ion.]

[Asch was still knocked out, but was close to being conscience.]

-A puddle of blood started to form near Aschs head-

Very odd, but how will you gain any memory by staying here in this one area? If you do not explore you will only be limited to a couple things to be able to gain your memory back.

[Wondered about this Anise. Shes in as bad of a position as I am, but...]

[Ion sighed and gathers all the seventh fonons within to heal him.]

Well I do different things around town and try and learn something new everyday...

-Sighing deeply-

Poor Anise...you are a difficult one. Well I will let you know right now, if you wish to come with me you can. I could always use another fighter. However I will understand if you wish to stay in the safety of Jade or Dist. Oh and don't mention it to Dist otherwise he might be interested in following. If you know your answer now then that would be good because we could go about our business, or if you wish I can return within a week and hear your answer.

[Asch woke up, holding his hand to his head.]

Ion? I guess I can't be surprised to see you here.

[Noticing the blood from his head had disappeared.]

Thanks Ion, but I should probably get on my way...I have lost too many hours and found no answers.

-Holding his hands into a fist in anger, but not towards Ion-

[Ion held onto his staff. The cold winds breezed through his robes.]

Are you all right? Er...do you have any idea where you are? I mean, I can help you whatever it is that you're seeking.

-She nods her head-

I can have your answer in a week, where do you want to meet?

I'm fine I just had a little bit of a setback..that's all...

-Whispers to himself- Damn cheagle

Ion...Ill never understand why you like these woods.

Honestly I don't know where I am, but that doesn't matter as long as I find what I am looking for! In which I don't think you will be able to help since you mainly stay in these woods. You are one of the few I can trust though...

-Holds his hands to his head in confusion-

Good...I do expect an answer I will like, but still it is your choice. As for where to meet, I will send a friend on where we are going to meet. Do not worry it will not be far, and since you don't seem to know anything beyond these woods and town, I am sure it will take you less than a couple of hours to get there. Just make sure you have some meat for my friend. Farewell Anise

[Waving farewell, Asch continued on into the forest]

Now where is that damn cheagle!

-The young girl frowned as the man left, she didn't like the sound of his 'friend'. She watched as he left and then turned towards the city, quickly making her way back with a small frown on her lips.

It's full of wild animals. [Ion smiled.]

You're in a new world that draws people from multidimensions. Therefore, you are no longer in Auldrant.

Aw, c'mon. Maybe I can help. I lived in this world longer than you do. Maybe I know something that can give you direction.

Fine...you might be right. Have you heard any rumors of there being a replica of Van?
