[Anise stopped questioning how and why she kept finding her way back to this place a while ago. All she knew was that it was weird here, because there were always way too many of the same person walking around. Oh, well. That just meant more Guy's to hug, Colonels to hang around with, Asch's to bother and, most importantly, Ion's to protect!]

[Today, though, she finds an old sign that brings back a few fuzzy memories. She grins. Time to have some fun.]

[Half-excited, half-apprehensive, Anise jogs up to her double.]

[Ion didn't know what it was that brought him to this strange place -- was it even real? Or just a very vivid dream? But here he was, little green wings and all. He's already seen enough duplicates wandering about to get the general idea of how it worked.]

[And seeing an Anise was far from an unwelcome sight. Though all things considered, he's a bit hesitant as he approaches. He's at least two Auldrant years older now, and that's enough of a difference to be noticeable, at least.]

[Anise, kneeling by her sign and touching it up with some glitter, rolls her eyes.]

Boo, Colonel. I know you can read! [She turns, one hand pointing out the words to him.] It says, free hugs!

[Thankfully, this is far from the first (or indeed, even second) time Anise has seen a double of her own! She just grins.]

[Hands in his pockets as he slinks by, Noct stops just long enough to look down at the sign -- how is it sparkling like that? -- before staring at the pigtailed-loli behind it.]

[Her heart always skips a beat when she sees Ion. It's always hard. But it's also always a happy reunion! She tries to focus on the happy part, especially when she sees the little, green wings. Somehow, her shoulders feel empty.]

Mm, I noticed. And I have to say, I am proud of to see that deceptive tactic employed. Your victims won't see the pickpocketing coming. [He raises a finger.] However, being a member of the Malkuth military, I must warn you that I will have no choice but to arrest you should I catch you in the act.

Is that so, Anise? That's odd. Maybe it's just this head of mine playing tricks on me in my old age, but I feel certain that I can recall a number of instances contradicting that...

[He doesn't mind at all, holding on for as long as she needs. He though perhaps her reaction -- or rather, lack thereof -- to seeing him meant she was from a time earlier than himself, but... this hug says otherwise. Perhaps she's just grown used to seeing him in this strange place by now.]

I've only arrived recently myself. Though I suppose you could say I'm used to this sort of thing. It wouldn't be the first time I've woken up in a different world.
