[ he had it down to an art these days -- eyes locked on the laptop's monitor while his hands blindly and fiercely tapped at the right keys. with no hands to hold his cigarette, it dangles from his lips, the ashes threatening to break off into his lap at any moment. yeah, he's in the building most people seem to stay in, spending his time at a counter in one of the overly stocked kitchens.

just, you know, needed to get away from the horribly claws of sandwich the demon kitten for a bit. ]

Gailardia! Watch your language! And are you--smoking?

[ jumps a bit at the yelling and the... familiar voice, whirling about to find its source. yeah, that's about the time his cigarette drops into his lap, and all he can do is STARE. ]

Gailardia! It fell in your lap!

[ OH HAY it was burning just a bit. not that he really notices until she said anything. he just brushes it to the tile floor, still utterly speechless. ]

...Gailardia? [ frowns ] You're acting strange.

M...Mary... [ a-awwww, the tears are welding up in his eyes. ;___; ]

[ sighs ] Did you really burn yourself that badly? I swear, you cry over everything...

I... I don't think... [ this is killing him just a bit. how he's managing to talk, he's not sure. ] I'm not the Guy you're looking for.

Guy? Who's Guy? [ shakes her head ] If this is another one of your practical jokes, mister, I'm telling father. You even got Vandesdelca in on one!

[ asjdfjajjlsddkldjkdfj. ] ...Gailardia. I'm the wrong Gailardia.

...There is no other no other Gailardia. Are you getting sick? [ reaches up to place the back of her hand against his forehead ] You've been acting very oddly lately...

[ s-she's touching him. oh god, he can't hold the tears back now. ] I'm sorry...

[ brings a hand up to his face, pushing up his glasses a bit to wipe at his eyes. ] Sorry...

And--where'd you get those glasses? I've never seen you with them before...

I-I've had them for awhile...

Gailardia, lying is very improper. We both know you don't need them!

[If you thought you could escape the evil cat, you're very wrong...Where there is Luke, there's Sandwich on his arms, acting like a perfectly sweet, purring kitty. Said kitty was in need of milk, and Luke had kind of forgotten to get that for their own fridge...so into the kitchen he goes.]

...Guy? What are you doing here?

I-I do need them... [ drops his hand down, using it to try and conceal his other hand. ]

[ forces his eyes to part with his computer to luke, a smile coming to his face... regardless of the kitten. ]

...Another Gailardia. Seems you're very popular here.

[ doesn't look up from his laptop. ] Just slightly. Don't let the others fool you, however; I'm the best.
