[Van's arm has fully healed at this point, and he has managed to find a few practice swords and a fairly empty space. After wasting all that time, he's returned to training.

Anyone willing to train with him?]

[does a few test swings with his sword before he notices her, then turns to frown] That isn't proper training attire.

I know... I just want to watch for now. I'm tired.

Very well. Just be sure to sit where you won't get hurt.

...Can I practice even a little in this?

[He happens to be walking by when he sees Van, so he walks up.]

...You can do some arm movements, but nothing excessive.

[sees the blue-haired boy and frowns] Yes...?

That's all I do anyway... Remember?

[Wonders why he's frowning, but it clicks when a strain of blue hair covers his eyes.]

...It was, yes. I don't see how recovering from an injury would seem suspicious to you.

...Of course.

[offers her his training sword] To begin, show me what you know.

Okay! [takes it from him and clumsily moves into a defensive stance]

...Perhaps. I assume you're referring to yourself?

[smiles softly and takes a few steps back] All right, now. Can you do five swift strikes for me?

[He's cautious around him, but not suspicious.]

[pauses a moment, then grabs another training sword and tosses it at him] Then lets warm-up and have a spar.

I'll try... [swings the sword, trying hard but obviously not too practiced]

[Catching it, tossing it back and forth, getting used to the weight.] [Stops, and gets into his normal stance.]

[watches for a few moments, making sure to keep his expression flat]

When did you last practice?

The day I got here... Why?

[turns to the side and does a few swings to warm up his arms, getting into a stance and moving to strike at the air a few times; he glances out of the corner of his eye at Asch every now and then]

You should be practicing a little every day. You'll lose your skills if you don't.

[He goes over to a tree that has leaves falling off of it. He starts slicing each leaf that attempts to fall on the ground.]
