[After studying in the library for a few hours, Asch decides its time to head home. He first puts away the books he had been reading then heads out. Once outside he takes his usual path home but it begins to drizzle. He begins to hurry but decides that it won’t be of any use and he will end up getting home wet anyway. So now he walks only to stop when he notices something odd in the grass. Something was moving, upon closer inspection he notices it’s a large, ugly toad…in fact there where quite a few of them in the grass. He has a quick look around and doesn’t notice anyone close by so he makes a grab for it. Only it hops away… and now you see him chasing after it looking a bit silly.]

Wait!!! [He laughs a little as he chases it.]

It's... Look you! [Oh wait there goes a toad hopping onto his boot. He looks down at it with a frown because it wasn't helping him.]

[can't help but laugh at that, coming closer and peering down at the toad] Were you trying to catch him?

This one looks different. The one I was after was a lighter color. [Oh, wait he just gave himself away.]

Are there really that many of them out here?

Well if you listen you can hear them... [And in fact some of the toads were croaking.]

[closes her eyes to listen]

[She can probably hear numerous toads croaking in the grass around them.

He picks up the toad with both hands, the thought of dumping it on her head crosses his mind but he decides that is too childish.]

Do you think they'd be good pets? [opens her eyes and looks at him, smiling]

I don't know... they aren't very good looking. [It seems he has squished the toad a little and some strange chemical is oozing from its pores. He frowns at it.]

...I don't think so.

I think they're kinda cute, though...

C-cute?! [...well maybe if it weren't for the oozy stuff.]

Yeah, he's cute! Just look at his face... [comes closer to get a better look at it]

[He looks at the toad.] I still don't think they're cute... They're kind of funny looking.

He is kind of cute... You just aren't looking hard enough.

[He holds the toad by its legs with one hand and shows her the other with the oozy stuff.] This isn't cute...

...Well, the rest of him's cute.

...he looks kind of fat. He kind of reminds me of someone.

Who?

Ah... well... Grand Maestro Mohs... he was pretty big, and they're kind of the same color.

...You're right... They do look similar.

...You should name him Mohs.

...I don't think Guy would like it if I keep him. But it is a good name for him... or all of them.

I'll keep him, then.

Okay, but I'll help you take care of him.

[Well if she didn't need the help.] Here. [He holds him out towards her.]
