[Meet a new Guy to the dressing room!]

[After Van's supposed death, Guy has established his new home in Grand Chokmah as the heir to the House of Gardios. Unfortunately, it's feeling just like "home" as he expected it would. And he finds more and more that a being a servant wasn't so bad as long as a certain redhead continued on as his master. But now was a time for stepping forward; for letting the past go and finding a whole new future in a world that used to seem so distant. And that's why when Guy discovered a certain ex-God General was wandering about town, he figured now was the time to correct one of the errors from his past. Though it would seem he's gotten a little astray along the way...]

You've got to be kidding me... Here I thought I knew Grand Chokmah well enough to not wind up lost.
I'll never hear the end of this from Jade.

[Guy is somewhat caught off guard by the other's presence, but even more so by his words]

Oh, hey! Just the person I was looking for.
What exactly is that supposed to mean? Are we outside the city?

[He tilts his head a little.] I am not so sure I am the one you were looking for exactly.

You see Guy; you are no longer on Auldrant. This is a place… well I hear people call it a nexus. In this place you can find all sorts of people… alternates of those you may already know. Hence why I said there are a few Jades around these parts.

I wasn't mistaking you for Luke, if that's what you mean.

.....Hehe... Gee Asch, I had no idea you developed a sense of humor. That's a good one. [Feeling somewhat uneasy despite himself]

No, that is not what I mean. If you are looking for Asch I am certainly not the one you want.

[He frowns at Guy, somewhat annoyed at his reluctance to accept what he was told.] I am being serious.

[Guy is growing more unsure of this the more he stares at this not-so familiar person. Such a thing would be unheard of, but he supposes anything is possible... That's about all he can tell himself so his stomach won't turn completely upside down.]

What exactly are you trying to say? I'm really supposed to believe that in the past hour, I left Auldrant without even realizing it?

[Asch can’t help but sigh. Most people seemed to be more accepting of these news, luck would have it that he would get one of the non believers.]

I thought I made it clear that you are no longer on Auldrant.

Have a look around does this place seem familiar to you? [He quickly motions with his hand to the area around them.] …anyway no one really leaves their world, they just somehow end up here.

[If he had heard this from Luke, the blonde would most likely believe it to be a joke until the end. But coming from Asch... Well, let's just say he was looking around and not too satisfied with what he did see (or didn't see)]

How is that even possible? Well fine then, let's say I do accept this. How do I get back? And what exactly are you then, if not the Asch I know? (He sure as hell doesn't seem like a replica).

Well if I knew a way back do you think I would still be here? [He looks a bit bored now. Not use to having to explain so many details about where they where.]

Listen carefully because I am only saying this once.

As far as I know there is no way to leave this place. No one that I know has yet to achieve this. You can ask around if you like but I doubt you’ll get anywhere. Next is the about the people you will come across here. For one, there are many alternate versions of people and they come from alternate worlds. So you may come across more than one Jade for example.

[Sighs as he feels something familiar in this Asch. It wasn't really that he didn't understand, it was that it was unfathomable to begin with. These people may have not been replicas, but they sure shared characteristics of them. Different people but still the same... Meeting another "Guy" would be a little unnerving, that much he was sure of]

Fine, I understand.

[Th-this wasn't so bad, right? The idea of a different world was kind of cool (especially if they had innovative technology). But these were only ideas to keep his mind preoccupied from the present. What the hell was he supposed to do now anyhow!?]

Ah! My apologies. I should really be introducing myself then, huh?
[Holds out his hand] Nice to meet you.. err.. Asch.

[That was relieving, because he couldn’t think of another way to explain to this Guy what he meant. The only other option was to show him, and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to walk around with someone he just met.]

Good.

[He looks at Guy’s extended hand and raises an eyebrow. He wasn’t being serious right? Asch makes no effort to hide his displeasure, he disregard the hand now.]

I suppose, and yes it’s Asch. I guess you are Guy…

[Asch soon realized he would be explaining more things to Guy, if he didn’t leave soon. He was certain this man would want to know where people stayed, where to find food for starters.] Listen you, I’m sure you have other questions so let’s get through them quick.

[Guy slowly drops the hand, scratching at the back of his head to keep the thing occupied. Well, at least he tried.... This may not have been the "Asch" he was seeking out, but this counted for something, right?]

Haha... You know what's funny? I started out the day thinking I'd be asking you to stay at my place, but now I guess I should be asking you where to go. Can't say I'm really familiar with the area.

[Now he felt even more awkward... though that wasn't saying much. The original always had a way of putting others on the spot]

Is there an inn somewhere around here?

[Living with a Guy, he didn’t find it completely odd just a little interesting.] You wanted your Asch to live with you?

Anyway, if you are planning to ask the same of me I am going to have to refuse. I already live with Guy. But I can show you were to find a room. Unless you would like to live in a house I guess…

Oh, by the way there are no inns here. The rooms are free of charge, just make sure if you decide to take one that no one has claimed it first. So come along.

[He motions for Guy to follow, he begins heading towards the residential area. He doesn’t turn back, he figures Guy is going to follow him.]

Whoa whoa! F-first off, I think I'd be skewered by Asch if he caught me using any sort of possessive pronouns with his name. We're not... anything. And secondly, I was just going to ask him to stay a few nights. That's all. [Suddenly feels homosexual implications in this conversation.]

No... I wasn't. But that's fine, I guess. (Better than sleeping on the ground)

[Was it him, or were things going all too quick for comfort here? He felt like he was being shoved off by this Asch already. Maybe he never had a chance at fixing things between the Asch he knew... Ah well, nothing to do now but follow.]

Fine, if it bothers you so much, I will say the Asch from your world. Besides while he isn’t here, he can’t skewer you as you say. [He rolls his eyes, not that Guy can see, as he is walking a little ahead of him.] I don’t see what the big deal is anyway, I don’t know what kind of conclusions you might have jumped to but I thought it would be obvious what I meant to say.

…you might as well get use to it people here tend to refer to those from their world that way. [He stops for a moment to allow Guy to catch up. It's not really out of kindness but some sort of politeness.]

S-sorry. [Scratches at his neck this time. Damn hand doesn't want to keep still. I guess you could say I'm a little on edge. There's a lot of unfinished business back in Auldrant... [Not that Asch cared at all. Honestly, why was he even attempting small talk?]

[Stays close but silently behind Asch]

Unfinished business? I can’t imagine what it could be. I am actually kind of curious about something… [He can’t help but to bring a hand up and rub his chin. He then turns to face Guy.] Why were you in Grand Chokmah?

[Guy's taken aback that the redhead would actually care to ask something personally concerning him, but if Asch was willing to try, he wasn't going to back down now. (just had to remind himself, this was NOT the Asch he knew)]

Oh, I live there now. The Guy from y-... your Guy doesn't? [Damn but that's still weird to say] Well, my family is from Malkuth. And even with the destruction of my homeland, their wealth still existed in one way or another. I used some of that money to construct my own residence in Grand Chokmah. Couldn't live in the manor forever~

No, he lives here with me in a small house on the outskirts of the town. You see we have been here for a couple of years now.

[It was simple curiosity. He couldn’t imagine Guy living anywhere but the manor near Luke. In fact hearing that he had chosen to leave Luke was a bit surprising and puzzling.] …your Luke is he still living at the manor?

....I see. [Years? The idea of being stuck here so long didn't sit well with him, but he tried not to show his dampened mood]

Yes. After we battled with Van at the Absorption Gate, Luke moved back home and I parted with him there. I haven't spoken with him since.

[Asch caught a little of Guy’s dejection. He figured he might as well say something encouraging.] This place isn’t too bad. You will probably get use to it, but if you like I can help you search for a way to return. I know I said there is no way out, but it may be that no one has found a way yet that is all.

[He wasn’t sure what to say about Master Van. He had not seen that man in years, he had heard of some of the events that took place on Auldrant or the different versions of his world, he had not really experienced them.]

[Well Guy sure felt like an idiot. It was bad enough that he seemed like the lost child in all of this, but it was even worse to be reliant on others to help him. He'd best take things slow for now. If there was a way out, he could find it in time (hopefully soon)]

Haha, that's kind of you, Asch (surprisingly), but I couldn't burden you like that. Maybe I'll go to sleep and wake up back in Auldrant! [Laughs half-heartedly]

I highly doubt it. Besides I wouldn’t have offered if I thought it was a burden.

[Well they best continue on their way, so Asch begins to lead the way again. Obviously the other felt better just trailing behind him rather than walking next to him or so he thought.] Anyway, let me show you where you can stay.

Right. [There was no arguing with that where Asch was involved]

[Guy wasn't necessarily avoiding the other's side as much as he was dawdling behind, taking in the scenery of everything. It was too surreal for words, yet he couldn't deny the reality of it.] Alright then, lead the way.

[Asch just gives a nod. He had intended to do that after all. He walks along ever so often he glances back to make sure he hasn’t lost Guy. He doesn’t say much now, noticing that the other was a bit pre occupied having a look around the area. Good thing it wasn’t much farther.]

[It wasn't much longer before Guy caught up to the redhead, walking alongside him as he worked up a smile. It would do no good to mope about Auldrant right now, and he really should show more gratitude to the one who found him. Hell, he might not have known a civilization existed at all in this world if not for this Asch]

So, you said you lived with a Guy, right? Is he from your world as well?
