[Meet a new Guy to the dressing room!]

[After Van's supposed death, Guy has established his new home in Grand Chokmah as the heir to the House of Gardios. Unfortunately, it's feeling just like "home" as he expected it would. And he finds more and more that a being a servant wasn't so bad as long as a certain redhead continued on as his master. But now was a time for stepping forward; for letting the past go and finding a whole new future in a world that used to seem so distant. And that's why when Guy discovered a certain ex-God General was wandering about town, he figured now was the time to correct one of the errors from his past. Though it would seem he's gotten a little astray along the way...]

You've got to be kidding me... Here I thought I knew Grand Chokmah well enough to not wind up lost.
I'll never hear the end of this from Jade.

[After his run-in with "Asch", Guy seems enthralled by this... But he's still reluctant to jump to conclusions. Especially since, well, something seems different yet about this Luke (aside from the hair)]

[Yep. There goes his stomach, turning yet again. The thought of multiple Guys is just... disturbing...]

Well, nice to meet you then. [Smiles and extends his hand, unsure why he suddenly feels nervous by the gesture.]

Heh. It's nice to meet you as well, Guy. *grins again and holds out his own left hand which is not only bandaged, but happens to have a ring on a certain finger.*

Heh... [Why was it that this place seemed so dreadfully inescapable the more they spoke?]

[Guy tries to smile genuinely, but maybe it can't fool the other... Of course, that doesn't last long as he seems just a little distracted by something at the moment] ....Luke? What happened to your hand? .....What happened to you!? (Surely that's not...)

W..what do you mean? *suddenly takes his hand back and flexes it, shying away.* It's just a cut.

[Looks somewhat ashamed as he scratches his head]

My apologies, I didn't mean to startle you. But Lu-, err... what's with that ring? [He shouldn't be getting so personal. He couldn't think of this person as the Luke he knew... It was stupid to question him as if he were such]

*stares at him for a few moments, then blinks. this Guy couldn't be that sheltered, could he?*

It's alright, but haven't you seen an engagement ring before? Mother and Father had them, you know. *smiles slightly as he looks at his hand.*

Of course I have. [Laughs softly] That's why I'm so surprised to see you with one. ....Is it Princess Natalia?

N-Natalia? *he can't help but laugh loudly at the thought.* Lorelei, no. She's just a wonderful friend.

[Guy wants to take this as a joke, but obviously that'd be pretty insulting to the one in question]

Y..you and Asch actually get along here?

*laughs quietly at his reaction, going slightly red.*

For the most part, we more than get along. You kind of have to if you're going to marry someone.

[Guy's jaw doesn't seem to want to close anytime soon. Luke definitely wouldn't lie with a face like that (at least the Luke he knew). He's just going to take his sweet time letting this sink in]

*now is probably not the best time to inform Guy of some of the other.. peculiarities of this place, so he just continues to smile, stuffing his hands into his pockets.*

Most have that kind of reaction. Or worse.

[Guy is really trying not to imagine what's going on behind the scenes here. He doesn't have a problem with it, it's just... just... them]

'Sorry, this isn't in any offense to you. It's just difficult to look at you without seeing Luke. W-well, no! I didn't mean you weren't-. Err, I think you know what I'm trying to say. [Talk about making a fool of himself]

It's alright. I think I do understand, perhaps too well. I look like a person who's important you and who you may not want to think of in such a manner.

*stops in thought for a moment, glancing at him awkwardly.* If you don't mind me asking.. what do you think of your Luke?

Pretty much...

Huh? [Guy blushes a little, never having thought of such a question in the manner Luke was suggesting] Well Luke and I have been friends for years now. I'd go as far as to say I'm closer to him than anyone else. But our relationship doesn't go beyond that.

Ah, okay. Thanks. It really isn't the same for everybody. *relaxes a bit and goes back to grinning.*

This is probably going to sound just as strange as some of the questions you asked me, but when are you from?

...When? [Ah, that's right. It was stupid to imagine all of these people were brought to this world from the same time period. The Asch he met did say he'd been here for years. And since he looked rather young still, it couldn't have been similar to his situation]

[Scratches at his chin in thought] Luke, Tear, along with all of the others and myself had just fought with Van at the Absorption Gate. We parted ways after that and I started living in Grand Chokmah while everyone else went about their business. It's only been a couple weeks since that occurred.

*that would explain why Guy had so surprised to see him, since he had been thinking he was in Grand Chokmah.* I see.. It seems like it's been forever since then. I hope you're writing to him, at least! *shoots him a knowing look, smirking.*

"Forever"? How long have you been here?

Well of course! [Gives him a thumbs-up] Couldn't let the others beat me to it. Not that Luke responded... H-hey, wait! You already knew that.

I've only been here for about seven months, but it's been over three years since the Absorption Gate for me.

*laughs, giving him a raspberry.* That I did.

Seriously?! Wait... that means we're nearly the same age now. Haha, I never thought the day would come when I'd see Luke grow any further, but I guess you do look a bit older. [Guy's in a bit of awe, but he's not really sure he'd want to miss three years of his own Luke's life. Damn, he wished he knew the way out of here]

H-hey! [Laughs] Well you're not catching me off guard like that again.
