It does, but it'll be alright. Asch can fix me afterwords. You can't ignore it and we shouldn't have done it. So we didn't. *presses his hand more firmly to Luke's temple, placing his other hand on the opposite side.*

... [he looks rather actively distraught by this development, but she's right. so he just closes his eyes over and sets his hands over hers, thumbing at the back of one of them absently]

*rests their foreheads together, nudging against him lightly, hesitating.* You're.. my best friend, you know. I never meant to do anything to hurt you...

[his hands might just be shaking over Luke's wrists.]

..some friend I am. Couldn't stop us from doing something we both shouldn't have done. If anything, it's both of our faults. But... *opens his eyes at the shaking of the other's hands.*

[tightens his grip on the other's wrists a little, his own eyes still closed. the shaking has lessened slightly with the tighter grip.]

*tilts his head slightly to place a gentle kiss to Luke's lips, not moving back very much after.* I didn't stop you. I encouraged you. I'm just as much as fault, if not more.

[stills entirely at that, opening his eyes and frowning slightly, confused]

*now it's his turn to close his eyes, to avoid looking at him.* That's what I should have done, but I didn't. And while I regret it, I also.. want to remember it. It feels like it's been forever since someone held me like that.

[sad replica is sad. and moves one hand away from the other's wrist to brush it through his hair]
