*humming happily the hum of the innocent, hair looped up and pinned with decorative chopsticks as she cooks something, hips swaying to the beat in her head* Mm... shit, this smells good.

[because somehow coughing equates trying not to vomit. after a minute or two he just looks at her, shakes his head, and takes a few steps backward. if you plan to stop him from running the hell away, Ana, you might want to do something.]

Luke... *reaches out to him*

[he wants to reach back, he really does. but the overwhelming urge to expel the contents of his stomach and the reason for said urge is keeping him glued in place, shaking and with one hand twisted around the fabric of his jacket]

*gets up, touching his shoulders*

[closes his eyes, flinching and leaning away a little] I'm sorry.

It's okay. Luke, I promise.

[takes a few uncoordinated steps backward]

It's only not okay if you make it not okay.

[bumps into something and yelps, trying to step away from it and tripping over his own feet, landing in a sort of cat-like crouch]

*stops, hugging herself* Luke... stop fucking running.

[hi, he's going to try very, very hard to not get up and scramble away again. ...also trying very hard to keep what of her teriyaki he ate where it belongs.] I'm sorry.

Don't leave me. Don't leave... me...

[looks up, and briefly ignores his own neuroses to stand and reach out for her]

*clings*

[goes kind of stiff for a moment, then wraps his arms around her middle and buries his face in her hair]

I love you.

[hi, he's going to flop so he's on his knees and bring you with him, Ana.]

*goes semi-not-gracefully*

[his face is now buried in her shoulder, and likely won't be moving.]

*that is fine. Ana's not interested in moving anyway*
