[Guy's decided to come out of his ~~hole~~ home. He rubs at the back of his neck, peering around as he walked around the familiar--yet not so familiar area... it felt like its been a while since he's gotten out.]

I had been thinking it would be nice if I could make him a dinner, but that's probably out of my skill level at the moment. Maybe a cake that isn't very sweet would be good.

A cake huh? I know a really simple chocolate-cake recipe. All we need is nine simple things and BAM instant cake--not really, you still have to bake it. But yeah.

Oooh. That sounds great. And if Asch doesn't want it, we can split it ourselves!

I think it's just an Asch thing to not like sweet foods.

No way! Asch--well, my Luke's original--loves sweets; he's amazing at making them.

Really? That's pretty surprising.. My Asch doesn't care for them much at all.

Weird... Then again, they are different people... Asch had to deal with me here since he was twelve -though the time for me is much shorter-[Guy doesn't get it either D|] Maybe he just sorta... got different tastes.

You're right. They're the same person yet they're still individuals. I wouldn't be surprised if Luke had some kind of influence on him. Or it could be that he just didn't outgrow them.

Ehh... It's just, made me think of what he told me. Said he was having a hard time growing up with how I've been treating him... so he's thinking about leaving. Heh, horrible thing is I have no idea what I'm doing... Again, nothing... [Shrugs.]

...parenting doesn't come with a guide. And that's what you're doing basically; raising them. You were basically just your Luke's servant before coming here, right? So it's no surprise you're a bit lost. I know I won't have any idea what I'm doing when Aidan is born. At least they're older and can tell you what's bothering them...

Yes, but even Luke says I treat him too much like a child by worrying all the time... I don't understand how I'm supposed to act... I don't understand how I'm hindering him; I thought I was--baah, I don't even know... I thought I was doing my best trying to encourage him to figure out things for himself, while I act merely as a support. I don't know... again, I just don't really know...

Some people worry more than others, just as some care so much to the point of neglecting those who are the most important to them. Luke needs to learn that's just how you are and you have his best interests in mind. And I'm sure that part of it is him just being a typical teenaged brat. Like I used to be. You'll figure it out, Guy. I'm sure you will.

Yeah... I'm sure it'll be fine... It's not my decision anyway, if he wants to leave, I can't stop him...

He'd be an idiot to leave someone like you. *reaches out to give Guy a hug again.*

[He smiles a little and wraps his arm around Luke. Maybe this time, -he's- the one that needed it.]

Sure, he might need a chance to try things on his own, but he's still at that age where he needs someone to keep him out of trouble and show him the way.

He's not an adult... I want to watch after him but... He feels so strongly about it.

I know. It took a lot for me to realize I didn't know everything and could accept help from others.

[He leans away slightly] I wonder... that's what I'm worried about... its like, being alone for Asch is being an adult... and I can't accept that.
