[ This new place may have been quieter than the last, but it was still new and therefore easy to get lost in. Which is exactly what Luke is. Lost.

I was the same as you until about a year ago.

No, that was when Asch managed to bring me back.

...Asch died so I could continue on and defeat Van. Not having him alive.. it left me feeling hollow... So shortly after that, I gave up my body to let Asch have his life back. I guess... that's why he cared.

I still don't understand completely how he brought me back. I just know once again we needed Lorelai's help to gather the fonons that were nessecary for this body and to return my soul to it.

Because Van is nothing but a manipulator and a liar. He was willing to kill everyone on Auldrant to rid the world of the Score and we, Asch, my friends, and myself, refused to allow him to do that. I don't know how far in the future he's from, but I'm twenty now.

He was a jerk to me as well, but we share something deeper than just that. It's hard to lose a part of yourself.

Asch was kidnapped from Baticul at the age of ten and replicated. The replica was returned as "Luke fon Fabre" and no one knew for seven years.

The reason we look like him is because we're his replica.

*firmly grabs his wrist.* Being a replica doesn't mean we're any less of a person. It just means the way we came into the world is different. Mother loves both of us just the same.
