*Luke's frown deepens slightly Oh...*After a moment he nods briskly* Fine. Bring him out.

I'll be nice, God... *let's go of Luke and steps back* About time you're here.

*Luke's gaze is dark* Thought you'd be glad to have Asch for yourself for awhile.

... *shakes his head* No. I've realized a few things in the ten years we've been here. That's a long time to change a person.

... *Luke's expression quickly changes as he watches the other; a calm ATB does not compute in his mind; he can't help but be wary when he speaks* ...So you're telling me you've changed?

*nods* Asch and I... we came to terms with each other.

But, that's beyond what I wanted to talk to you about. I've seen how devoted he is to you. He waited for you, for God's sake! He didn't doubt for a moment that you would come back, and I'm pretty sure he was ready to wait a whole lifetime for you.

*Luke is incredibly quiet at this, not able to meet the other's gaze; he rubs at his arm awkwardly* ...Sounds just like him.

*a slightly pained expression comes to his face* ...I didn't mean to make him wait...

I know you didn't. Things like that are hard to prevent, especially in a place like this. But... Just watching him trying to cope with not having you around the first few years...

But the important thing is, you're here now. Now it's my turn to wait for him. He's yours. You won. I can't take him back against his will. But I'll wait. Just in case. I love him. There's no getting around that fact. But he loves you, and you love him more than I ever could.

*Luke is just...staring, a little dumbstruck* ...From you...that means a hell of a lot...

*shrugs* I've had a while to think about this. In case you did come back. I owe you more than an apology.

Just don't... fuck it up, okay? Don't hurt him, or else I'll do more than castrate you. *holds out his hand*

*Luke stares at the offered hand incredulously before slowly grasping it with his own* ...I'll do my best.

That's all I ask... *closes his eyes briefly before looking at Luke again* As if he could be anymore cheesier. *smiles softly*

You know...The whole conversation was a bit scary. *he smiles slightly* I'd of never imagined him saying that to me.

Like he said, he's had years to think about a lot of things. But... He's actually pretty supportive. He's practically been one of my best friends for five years and counting.

It looks like the two of you really have worked things out...*Luke smile falters slightly* Sorry I couldn't be here with you through everything...

He really tried his hardest to change... I don't even know what inspired him to do so in the first place. *pulls him closer, wrapping his arms around his waist* It's fine. You're here, now.

*Settles against him* Yeah...*his grip on the other tightens slightly* I'm here.

*breathes in deeply - oh how he missed the scent of vanilla and sea salt so much*

*nuzzles the other shirt lightly, lips planting a soft kiss on the others neck as he relaxes*

Hm... *runs a hand through his hair - wow, he really missed having Luke's hair this long*

*Luke makes a soft noise against the other; he really missed Asch doing this*

*tips Luke's head up a bit to kiss him gently*

*returns the kiss slowly, arms slowly settling around the other's neck*
