[ Today, Luke is in his room. The door is very locked, and he is very unwilling to open it unless certain you are not one to assault people. He is also in an oversized shirt and his own pants, folded in a little ball wedged between the wall and the end of his bed. Feel free to knock, but he makes no promises to open the door. ]

[ so after a bit of an incident with

obsidianmotion, Luke is a little afraid of everything. Particularly so of any and all Asches. Mun also works from 3-Midnight CST, and isn't certain the office computer will be an outlet she can utilize. Thusly replies may be slow until late. 8D; ]

[ When in doubt, steal her back? XD I had an SD sized doll before, and maybe it was just the wrong kind, but I didn't care for her too much. Too unwieldy. <<;; But yeah, the amount of clothes and details you can get for an SD size is pretty enticing. ...I think what really sold me on her, was that out of four dolls I've owned, dad liked her best. 8'D ]

Luke..! You were raped, weren't you? That's enough to scar you mentally for a long while. I know that. I've seen it. I've been there. And it's even worse that it happened while you were like this.

I just-- [ folds up where he's sitting, pressing his face into his knees ]

... *she's going to risk it and hugging him gently.* No... It doesn't work. But it helps to let others in..

[ and he's going to shake,-- a lot --but lean into the touch ]

*that's a start. he's going to continue to get a protective hug.* It'll take time to sort that out...

[ and after maybe a few minutes he can't quite take the proximity anymore and starts pushing her away gently ]

*quickly releases him, leaving only her hand to rest on his.* Ah.. sorry.

[ wasn't your fault, he was hyperventilating. so he shakes his head and leans backward against the wall a little, forcing himself to breathe normally ]

*she realizes that, but just the fact he's in such bad shape she can't help feeling horrible about seeing him like this.* I'm not surprised.

Hardly old. Hurt is more like it. You can't expect for things to go right back to the way they were. Nobody can bounce back that quickly.

... *nods, reaching out to play with his hair some.*
