*just watches him for a moment, not moving from the spot, curious about the wings* ...

[ mutters to himself, his pace slowing even more as his attention is diverted to trying to fold his wings back up, something they can't do right now. ]

*slides off the branch and just kinda floats down, but never really touches the ground* Asch, is there something wrong?

[ whirls around to face him, sword drawn. ] ...

*doesn't move an inch, just looking at the blade passively* ...

[ glares at him. ] What do you want?

Your wings. They look like they're in pain.

[ scoffs, adjusting his stance and wincing. ] No shit. You think?

...May I heal them, for you?

...what's the catch?

...Why would there be a catch?

There's always a catch. [ don't mind him. he's bitter and hurting. ]

*chuckles softly* There isn't much that you have that would be very valuable in my current state.

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

*smiles* In case you didn't notice, I'm not very alive right now.

*shrugs* It seems like a lot is possible in this place.

Tch. [ rubs his neck. ] I shouldn't have asked.

.... *tries to rest his hand on one of his wings; you might feel a little cold around the area his hand's on*

--! [ smacks at his hand, not wanting anyone else to keep touching his wings. ]

*well, that would have worked, if his hand was actually tangible, but it's not, so Asch's hand just kinda goes right through his* ...

The hell-?! [ well, if there's no hand to touch his wings, then he can't very well hurt them, right? or so Asch hopes. ]

Now that we've established the fact that I'm not in a tangible form, may I heal you?

...sure. [ cautiously turns his back to him, watching over his shoulder.

*closes his eyes and concentrates, the coldness of his hands on his wings turning warm*
