[how many of you are pissed at this guy? Well, guess who's sleeping in the hallway, and hasn't moved for several days. He'll wake up once you move to attack him, but oh, doesn't this look like a golden opportunity?]

Not long enough for what you did to her.

[looks at him] You keep saying that. What about the blood on your hands? The atrocities you've committed? Have you told her about the people you killed as Asch the Bloody? The women who pleaded? The children who couldn't fight back? And you dare say I'm the monster?

The crimes and horrors I have committed are not the issue here, therefore she does not need to know the details. I am a monster, yet that does not make you any less of one.

Have you attempted to atone for those sins? I may have tasted her, but I'm trying to atone. You killed, and yet.

Atonement can take many forms. You do not know in what ways I may have done so. But if you want to know so badly, no, I have not attempted to make up for the people I killed. That is the path I chose to take and I have no regrets for the things I have done.

And I'm the monster.

[looks at Luke]

What do you want from me?

An acknowledgment of what's before you. A reason why you trust him, someone who's killed and doesn't profess any remorse for it, over someone who's done much of the same but grows weary of the death and tries to atone for it.

How dare you? I don't owe you a damn thing, much less an explanation. Yes, you're atoning, and I have been letting you. But don't you talk to me like I'm some idiot that you're entitled to get an answer from.

[the wounds are finally hitting him, but he doesn't look at her] ... [turns, trying to hide the blood oozing from his mouth]

[the breath he has to take to talk rattles in his chest] Hn.

Hmph. [ puts his hand near hers, glancing at Luke. ] You said these wings help with magic, right?
