You know, this place is more obnoxious than a New York subway station some days. Nothin' but people with things they shouldn't have. Cripes. [ this would be Luke, playing bartender. he's irritated, but feel free to come by and ask him to make you something! ]

You like cherries, though. ...Or at least it looks like it.

I do like cherries. And strawberries.

I actually just like fruit.

There are a lot of fruity drinks out there. Maybe try a Cosmopolitan? They're real popular. A Madras is basically the same as the Hawaiian Sunset I made you before without the club soda.

Maybe I'll try those too, sometime. I actually don't know how much liquor is in these things.

Hawaiian Sunset has an ounce and a half of vodka, give or take, Tom Collins is stronger with two ounces of gin, Cosmopolitan has an ounce of vodka and a half an ounce of triple sec, a Madras has another ounce and a half of vodka, tequila if you make it a Mexican Madras... [ clicks his tongue ]

[ blinks ] Something wrong?

You know a lot.

... [ laughs quietly ] I learned from a guy who'd been in the business for longer than I've been alive, so I guess I kinda do.

I think it's really cool.

It's sure as hell useful in a place like this. Parties, too.

[ quirks an eyebrow, grinning ]

I'm enjoying myself.

[ smiles back ] Good. You want something else, or you good with the Tom Collins?

I'm good with this for now. Then I might try something else.

[ nods ] Just let me know. [ closes his eyes over as he sips at his own drink again, humming softly when he sets the glass back down ]

[ just hums ]

Hit me!

[ starts, and chuckles for a moment before pulling up another glass and making another drink, garnished with a lime slice this time. slides it toward her ] Cosmopolitan.
