[pacing about the house in the late hours is little Asch. who hasn't been able to get any sleep for a while and just...thinking, spacing out]

[Shame, Asch is currently distracted by his dreams to notice the oddity of the situation.] ... [...correction, more like a really bad nightmare, making sounds every once in a while.]

...hey. [ the "kid" gets a light shake as Luke doesn't want to see him hurting because of a nightmare; if his own are scary, he can't begin to imagine what Asch's must be like. ]

--!? [starts] ... [it takes him a few seconds to realize where he was]

...right. Sorry. [ hastily puts him down on the bed and steps back, scratching at his hair. ]

...[he's not laying down]

[ grumbles, folding his arms behind his head and flopping onto the edge of the bed. ] Go to sleep.

...pff. Wish you'd make up your mind...

...[well, he's laying down now.]

[he's going to go and hide under the covers now]

[ it's still surprising how damn small he is. ] Something good would be nice.

[ well, yeah. but Luke isn't gonna ever say that. so he just flips the covers up over Asch. ]
