[ Smiles at him and scoots around so Luke can see him better. ] ...yeah, he is. His name is Aidan.

*offers his hand out to the little bundle, eyes curious* ...He's really tiny...

[ Luke's hand gets a mildly interested stare from the baby. ] Mm. Not quite two months old.

*smiles softly, wiggling his fingers a bit* Mom said her and Dad want to give me a baby brother or sister...I don't know if I'm ready for that yet though...

Heh. That's kind of the opposite of the little Asch who stays with us. He wants a sister. ...but if you're not sure about wanting one, tell your parents. They might understand. [ She pets Aidan's head as he keeps watching those moving digits. ]

Maybe... *frowns slightly, tapping the baby's nose softly* Dad's not really that fun to talk to though...

He never was for me either. [ Laughs when her baby scrunches his face up and wiggles. ] Father's too serious for my liking. Mother was always easier to talk with.

*a slight smile and a knod* Yeah... *big green eyes shift to her again, one brow raised* ...How do you know so much about Mom and Dad?

[ Quirks her own, pierced eyebrow at him. ] ...let's say I know them pretty well.

*blushes a bit, unsure how to respond, his focus turns towards little Aidan once again* You're real different from the people I'm used to seeing at Dad's dinner parties...Actually...you're real different from anyone I'm used to seeing...*wiggles his fingers again, tapping Aidan's curled up hand*

[ Laughs, reaching out to ruffle Luke's hair. ] Different from anyone, huh? Haha! I'll take that as a compliment. [ Strokes Aidan's other hand, watching him stare at Luke, entranced. ]

*flustered now, he bats her hand away halfheartedly* I-I didn't mean it badly...Really...

[ Withdraws her hand, smiling at him. ] I just wish I knew what you meant.

*fidgets slightly, embarassed* You seem a lot cooler and nicer than they are...A lot of them are just like Dad...they wouldn't talk to a kid like me unless I was playing something for them...

[ ffff. He's so adorable. ] They were probably a lot older than me. And anyone who was friends with Father had to be pretty stuffy in the first place. ...you play? Play what?

*smiles now, brightened at the topic of music* A lot of things really. My parents love music so they had me take a lot of classes growing up...Piano, violin, cello...*blushes slightly*...harp...They were all pretty fun to learn I guess...piano especially. *smiles brightly* Mom loves hearing me play.

Oh! You're another one who know how to make music! [ She's highly inept, so it always impresses her. ] You can play all those? And you're still so little! That's amazing..

*blushblushblush and a small pout* I'm not that little you know...I'll be 10 in April!

Heh. That is little. I'm more than twice your age.

*blink*...But you don't look as old as Mom.

((I imagine their mom being the type to encourage their kid to believe they're in their 20's when really, they're nowhere near it anymore. xDD))

[ Oh Mama.. XD; ] ...Mother is a good deal older than me.
