B-Big Brother... wh-wh-where are you... I-I've been a good boy... I really, really have... I w-won't be a bad boy, s-s-so where are you... why aren't you coming to bring me home... wh-why aren't you here... I wanna go home now... I wanna see Mama a-and Papa and I want you here...

U-um... [more nervous kidlet swaying before he holds up his arms] Can you carry me...?

[ Quirks an eyebrow, but leans down to pick him up. ]

[clings to him]

[ Scoops the kidlet up into his arms with a chuckle, hand resting on his back. ]

[snuggles] Big Brother carries me lots, too, when it's far. 'Cause he says I'll get tired too quickly.

It is better for both of us if I carry you most of the way there. The ocean is a fair distance from here and we will still have to make the trip back.

Okay... [gonna cling a little tighter, then] You're really warm...

[ Some kids annoyed him, but this one is pretty cute. That has nothing to do with him being Luke, of course. ] Am I? Are you cold?

[shakes his head a little] But... warm people are nice. 'Cause they make me feel really safe and comfy.

[ Smiles at Luke, holding him to his chest. ] That is how you should feel.

[ Doo dee doo~ After a good long while walking, they finally hit the ocean! :o ] There it is.

[ Mm. The ocean smells wonderful for being so chilly this time of year. ]

Indeed. And it's fun during the warmer months.

Well then, once there is no longer a chill in the air, we will come back so that you may go swimming.

But I don't know how t'swim...
