[ flails slightly, grabbing hold of Asch's sleeve and tugging in order to get back into Wingy's line of sight ] [ he's trying to articulate that they didn't actually completely bang, but he's not sure how to say it. ]

[ Swats at Luke, trying to get him to stay behind him or out of the way at least. Figures he wouldn't listen. ] He may have started it, but I allowed it to continue on further than it should have gone and I showed him affection that was meant for you. He's a dear friend to both me and you. I did not wish to see him suffering.

[ oh hell this is not what he wanted. reaches after Wingy with a sort of horrified expression, voice cracking ] Dammit listen to me...!

[ That's going to leave a mark... Not that he hadn't expected it. He barely recoils, only bringing a hand up to rub at his bruised jaw. ]

[ recoils, stepping away ]

[ Steps towards Wingy, resting his hands on her upper arms. ] Don't be mad at him, please. He isn't like us, he had no one else in this strange land he could trust.

I'll be angry at whoever I want. Making excuses for him doesn't make this any better, especially when I know exactly what it's like to be alone in a strange place! So you can both go to hell!

[ swallows, just going quiet ] [ gives her a look ] Just-- ...Don't stay mad at him, please...

[ Looks from him to Wingy. ] ...yes. What's been done is done. I could ask for your forgiveness, Luke, but I have no right to it. [ Moves towards her again, turning to the side to expose his wings. ] It was you we hurt, so do what you will. If you wish me to go to hell, then it can be by your own hand.

No! I could never...!

[ Luke's just ...gonna shut up and stand off to the side, doing what he should have done in the first place and staying out of it. ]

[ He gets a gratefully look for it, along with one that almost wants him to get out of there while he hasn't suffered any blows. ] ...

...as I can never leave you be. [ Folds his wings up and takes a step closer, leaving her plenty of room. ] Everyone stumbles, Luke. Your misstep was before you cut your hair.

I'm going now.

[ Shifts to turn mostly away from her, still watching her out of the corner of his eye. ]

Where do you plan to go?

I don't know yet.

You should remain here. I will leave.

I'm fine by myself.

[ Wings ruffle, and he too starts in the opposite direction. ]

Fine. Don't go getting yourself in trouble.
