[Staff-bearing Luke is out and about. Or at least out, since he's not doing much in the way of wandering about. Instead, he's kind of sitting almost precariously on a tree branch, leaning back against the trunk with his eyes closed, his staff held across his stomach.

Belkend doesn't have the kind of security it used to. It's pretty easy to sneak into the labs now, since they don't use them too much anymore. [wtf, why is he going off on a random tangent?] I don't really remember what I was hoping to find there, but I do remember that I didn't get what I needed. I did find something else, though. Papers negating old theories. Papers from back then... it couldn't have been from too long before we went to Eldrant. They were Jades, and Spinoza's, completing the theories for the Big Bang. A lot of it went way over my head, but I know that one of Jade's said something about those cheagles from the mirror caves...

He never told us anything, though. I guess maybe he hinted at it a couple times to me, but I couldn't see it. The thing is, even if the Tower of Rem had never happened... I was going to die. What they thought at first was wrong. The original isn't the one who dies.

[takes something from his pocket, closing his eyes while clenching his hand around it; after a bit, it begins to glow, and he tosses it in Asch's direction] Her fonon levels are low, right? It's not much, but that might give some extra time.

[ Catches it with a nod in his direction, rolling it in his palm before turning it over and looking. ] I will take every extra second I can get. Should the need arise, I have a couple of ideas to keep her from disappearing.
