[It's not all that unusual to see Asch walking around alone, mostly avoiding people. It is, however, probably unusual to see him walking around without his standard >\ expression, not to mention a red and gold jacket.

It's probably also unusual to see him looking over his shoulder so often almost like he's trying to make sure something isn't there.

It was never anyone's place to choose. The Score was absolute in their minds. And why not? They would not want to change with their lives being so comfortable and the promise of "great prosperity" to come just around the corner by following the Score. There may be a few who wish to find another way, but those are too far and few between to make any real progress.

I don't know anything that the Score really says... I've never really heard it, except the bits and pieces they read before sending me off to Akzeriuth, and what I overheard in Yulia City, that it had said that Akzeriuth would fall and that "Lorelei's scion" would die there. And I keep thinking about it, about what they said and what happened, and it just doesn't make sense.

What the hell kind of prosperity could ever come from people dying?!

It all depends on how you take the "prosperity" they so highly touted. Perhaps ridding Auldrant of people could be taken as prosperity for the planet itself.

At best, the Score should have been used as a guide or something to be consulted in times of dire need, as Yulia once did. People should not leave their lives to fate without taking any initiative themselves.
