[A certain 'Alexander Astori', otherwise known as one of the many very intensely grumpy redheads populating the dressing room, has appeared once again. This time he's minus a cat, but he's not too worried, if no less annoyed over it all. He's dressed more casually that he was last time, and is missing his phone.]

[ Confusion works for him. It helps to distract your opponent. After exchanging glares for several minutes, he breaks the silence. ] If you know he smokes, why do you allow it?

Hmph. It's his own concern what he does with himself. He doesn't make a habit out of it and he doesn't smoke inside, so it's none of my business.

You need to learn to take better care of your replica, not to mention learn more about him in general. "Doesn't make a habit out it"? The idiot would go through several packs a day if you were to let him!

The idiot's not going to learn anything if I'm treating him like an ignorant child all the time, even though he is. I already 'let' him have his way, and he'd only go through that many if he were stressing himself out over nothing again.

He is smarter than you think. It is precisely because we thought Luke was capable of handling things on his own that the situation got so bad. He needs someone to guide him properly. And he worries about things that are important to him; that makes them more than 'nothing'.

I'll guide him when he actually needs it. He's not stupid enough to be blind to the health problems those things could cause him, and me attempting to lecture him about it would only make him be even more stubborn about the whole thing -- and when he worried about what he should worry about, he does more than simply have a cigarette and smoke uselessly.

[pauses to take a breath, and then he switches gears without warning, mood shifting from angry back to suspicious]

How did the situation 'get so bad'?

Hmph. He worries a great deal about all manner of things that lead him to smoking far more than is necessary. His health should be a concern of yours after all he has done for you and Auldrant.

How much concern his health is of mine is business for he and myself, not you. And don't attempt to lecture me about an event you weren't on our world to experience. I know full well what lead to Akzeriuth. [He doesn't really care that this other Asch thinks so little of him, as long as he's left alone.]

I doubt that what happen to Akzeriuth in your world differs greatly from what occurred in mine. [ Asch steps closer, not pleased in the slightest with this version's nonchalant attitude towards his replica. ]

Should something happen to him, it will be my business.

[bristles slightly as the other takes a step closer, though he isn't intimidated] Should something happen to him, it'll be my business first. Your interference won't be necessary.

It will be necessary if you are the cause of it. [ Stops and narrows his eyes, wings fluffing up. ]

[He's now going to turn halfway and start to half walk, half stomp off; he's automatically moving at an angle where he'll be a few yards away from the other before his back is properly turned to him

[ After there is some distance between them Asch follows for a few steps to make sure the other knows he's there, glaring daggers at him. ]

I will hear about it if you are cruel or mistreat him.

[turns to give the other a look that really clearly says, 'And I should care because....?']

[ Tightens his grip on the sword at his side in way the other is sure to see. ] If you value living.

Hmph. Your world really must be different if you think a weak threat like that would be enough to make me change my mind about anything.

Threat or warning, I won't tolerate him being mistreated by anyone, you included.

[again with the 'and I should care because...?' look] Nice to know, but there's not any point in you telling me this.

[ Closes his eyes and sighs, pushing his bangs up. ] The point is that he cares a good deal for you. Try not to take it for granted.
