Intro; away from the sun

If anyone bothers to head outside, there's a Luke leaning against a tree. He looks between being conscious and passing out though. There are small wounds scattered across his body and cuts in his clothes-- A hand twitches and if you look close enough, you can see through him to the tree at some points anyway. He breathes softly ad his eyes crack open. Even though he can't make out the images, he can feel sunlight. Isn't that a good sign?

"...Did.. Did it work?"

He winces as he's pulled forward from the tree, but he makes no effort to move. Only when he's asked if it hurts does he try. "Everyw--" He pauses, his body feeling a bit lighter than it was moments ago. ".... Nowhere." He feels fine now, and it's... a bit surprising, but he looks up. "... Asch?"

...[he nods, his hand moves from his chest to his hand] ...You're unstable.

He looks down to his hand, grimacing at the fact he could see through it moments before he was found. Sitting up straight, he nods. "Don't have to tell me twice."

It takes him a few moments to think about it, but he manages to remember most of it. "I.. released Lorelei and.. I was descending and..." He can't recall much more.

Ah...so you're one of the Lukes that made it to the end.

One of them? He struggles forward and rests an elbow on his upper thigh, staring with confusion. "What do you mean...?"

...This place, brings many people we know from different times or worlds. I've met many other Lukes here before you.

There's.. Something different about this Asch. He can tell from.. a lot of things. The appearance, the tone of his voice.. Heck, he hasn't even called him replica or dreck yet. Tilting his head, Luke licks his lips before asking. "... Are you really Asch?"

He looks down at his hands, then back up. "I mean.. I know there are... others, like you say, but..." His palms press against the fabric of his pants. "You.. You feel.. Different. In a way."

He grimaces at his words. ".. Did that make any sense?"

...[he just smiles, chuckling a little] You're rather perceptive for a Luke.

[Perhaps it was all right to reveal the other part of himself to Luke.] I am Lorelei's container. Perhaps you are simply feeling his presence within me.

He starts to smile for the compliment but manages to refrain from doing so, looking a bit sour about the second part. "H-Hey, what's that supposed to mean--"

Lorelei? He stares for a moment, reaching his hand out towards Asch. "... Why would you do something like that?"

[takes a step back] It wasn't just my decision...Lorelei, he couldn't return to the fon belt when I freed him from Van.

His hand retracts quickly to his side-- that wasn't the best thing he's let his body do so far. Staring, he thinks about it. ".. So he's regaining his strength?"

He nods slowly, and a smile soon grows back on his face. "Oh, alright." He takes a look around, then turns back to Asch. "So what is this place anyway?"

...I can't really tell you that. It just gathers people and keeps us here.

"No way back?" He's tilting his head.

Not that I know of. If you do leave, it tends to happen when you least expect it.

He nods slowly, arms crossed and head lowered in thought. "That's... Wow." Kinda strange, but he can understand it. Usually.

"Yes sir!" He fakes a salute, hands back at his side as he puts his feet together. It's the little things that let him be a good but have manners at the same time.
