Intro; away from the sun

If anyone bothers to head outside, there's a Luke leaning against a tree. He looks between being conscious and passing out though. There are small wounds scattered across his body and cuts in his clothes-- A hand twitches and if you look close enough, you can see through him to the tree at some points anyway. He breathes softly ad his eyes crack open. Even though he can't make out the images, he can feel sunlight. Isn't that a good sign?

"...Did.. Did it work?"

[ At the mention of him having wanted to ask to be killed she turns away, eyes screwed shut tight. It seems there'll always be traits they share no matter how their pasts differ from each other. ] ...knowing Guy, he didn't say anything so you wouldn't be hurt.

[ She hums softly to herself, nodding once as her eyes open. ] I think I understand what you mean. He's still the person who looked after you for so long.

He nods. "I understood that after a while, after seeing how it really affected Guy as we went on. It really hurt him bad." There's another nod as she speaks and the smile comes back to his face.

"Yup, that's Guy."

Guy's always been a good person, even if his choices weren't the best. A lot like us. [ Returns the smile and makes herself comfortable on the floor with him, running a finger over her child's cheek. ] We all learned a lot from each other.

Agreed, there has been a lot they've learned from each other. "Yup, that's true." So much they've learned, so much to remember from one another.
