[opens the door and helps him to the bed]

*sits down on the bed, but doesn't lay down on it just yet* ...

...Do you want me to go get ice for anywhere you're hurt?

N-no... I'm not worth the effort...

...I think you are.

If I'm worth it, then so are you.

*bows his head, now crying quietly*

[just watches for a moment before leaving to go get some ice]

*yeah, he's just gonna chill here, crying*

[comes back with a few bags of ice and some towels, coming and sitting next to him on the bed]

*stiiiill crying*

[hesitantly leans closer and starts rubbing his back]

*leans towards him* ...

[gently pulls him closer, still rubbing his back and starting to hum absently]

*the humming seems to help as he calmsw down significantly, crying dying down to hicups*

[just keeps up the back rubbing and humming for now, not sure what else to do]

....

...Are you alright...?

No.

...Do you need something?

M-my Uncle Van...

...He's not here...
