[ Brushes the dirt off his coat before getting to his knees. ]

Huh?! Don't you think that's kinda weird to be talking to yourself about?

[Flat look] I'm talking to myself. [A point towards the poor replica] I think "weird" isn't an appropriate scale to measure strange occurrences anymore.

[ So confused. How this was worse than talking with Asch was beyond him. ] "Weird" is about as descriptive as you can get without going into 'crazy' or 'fucked up'.

This place is pretty "fucked up" alright. And so is waking up to another me almost kissing me. [Glare.]

Then punch me in the gut to make me breathe or something! Don't just go and get that close! What if I had sat up? We would have been wearing some pretty awesome bumps on our foreheads.

Didn't think that would actually work to get a person breathing again. Last I checked, that's how you knock the air out of someone. And a bump or two would've been better than letting you croak, if you ask me!

[Luke finally stops being an ass and takes a deep breath, leaning back on one of his hands and giving the other Luke a smile] I guess so. Thanks.

[ Well, his other self seemed to be okay, and that was a relief. Luke grins back, offering him a hand. ] No problem.

[Luke grins and takes the hand. Floor's pretty comfy for now] I don't think I've talked to you before...then again, I just woke up and I'm not sure what's going on.

Can't say I remember another one of us quite like you either. And from what I can tell, not much is going on. Just the usual.

All I really want to know is how long I've been out for. Last I remember, it was somewhere around Halloween...

Halloween? I'm not even sure what that is. Aren't you from Auldrant?

Because! Halloween is the greatest holiday ever. You get to dress up, make an ass out of yourself, and people reward you with candy for it.

I guess so. He had a lot of them; it was kinda weird.

I'm not sure what day it is today; Halloween is on October 31st in my world.

Ahh, I guess it's possible. People from Earth are more likely to get piercings than you guys.

[ Luke fishes around in a couple pockets before producing... ta-da! A pocket calendar! ] What color month is October? [ The page for each month is a different color, so naturally he assumes that's the best way to figure this out. ]

I'd never seen one until I met him. Why do you guys get so many?

I'm not sure if October has a color...but if it has one, it'd probably be orange. [The color of Lukes \o/]

I dunno. I guess it depends on the person? I would probably get one only...

[ All right! \o And he only has to turn a page to hit orange. ] Ah! It's only a few days away from being that month!

That makes more sense, though I'd be annoyed from my hair getting caught in it.
