[Asch has a balled up blanket clutched tightly to himself, and he's walking very carefully towards home. He's glancing around, as if to make sure no one is watching as he carries whatever it is he's holding. He keeps looking back over his shoulder, also, as he has a feeling that he's being followed... But he always turns back to his blanket, making sure it's still safe. The blanket occasionally moves a bit, although whenever it does Asch is careful to move it back into place.]

[Place a hand on his shoulder.]

That's our house! [points up ahead]

[Nods and follows Asch to the house.]

[carefully opens the door when he gets there, then leads Guy to the sofa]

You can sit here, with this, while I get you a drink.

You can give me the baby while you do that.

...Good. [carefully hands the baby over, then goes off to the kitchen]

[He peels the blanket away and whispers to the baby.]

It's so sad that someone abandon you.

[if Guy looks up at all while Asch is in the kitchen, he might see another young Asch peeking through the window]

[Pffft. Guy indeed looks up.]

...another Asch?

[as soon as he sees her she starts, ducking out of sight for a few moments before hesitantly peeking back into the window]

[Guy couldn't exactly put the baby down, so he got up carrying the infant with him and heads toward the window.]

[the little Asch outside seems scared at first, but she quickly recovers and just watches as he approaches]

[With a single hand, he pushed the window open and peeks out.]

Hello?

...Hello.

...Are you taking care of that baby?

Huh?

This baby isn't mine...probably an orphan. I only know this child for 5 minutes.

Well, she needs to be taken care of! You can do it, right?

Well, maybe her mother can't do it, so she wants you to instead.

[she just stays, watching Guy, but ducks down to hide when she sees unspokengrief come back]

[He goes to sit back down, wondering what he should do. This is unexpected. He never imagine finding children to take care off again, especially having been relieved of the babysitter duty for the last two years.]

[comes in, carrying two glasses of strawberry milk]
