[ It's late afternoon. Do you know where your Peony is?

He's found himself here, again. And just when he finally forced himself out of that bout of paranoia that followed him home after his last trip to the dressing room. But, really, he was planning on putting together a security team for his rappigs since way back, anyway. The novel possibility of his adorable rappigs getting tossed into another dimension just happened to be an added incentive to prioritize. Surprise, surprise.

Interestingly enough, it seems he's found himself stuck in a tree near the edge of town. Now, if this doesn't make him nostalgic... Unfortunately, however, he seems to be at a loss as to how to get... down. ]

Right. This shouldn't be too difficult.

[ After all, he's still quite agile, mid-thirties or not. Despite the precarious nature of his position, he's laughing, quick and sure as he works across the branch he's clinging onto. -- Only, well... it's not advisable to go about climbing down a tree... carelessly. Funny, really. He never did have much luck with the trees in Keterburg either.

Gravity, truly thou art a heartless bitch.

-- So have a rather indignant yelp, and an emperor falling out of the sky and onto his ass down below. -- Oh. And a:

-- It would be a good time to note that, although our dear emperor may not be fat... he's heavy... My friend: you weren't standing right underneath that tree, were you? ]

[ Jade had been peacefully reading under said tree, but now Peony has very rudely interrupted that. Must you be so loud, Your Majesty? Thankfully though, the emperor has landed in front--and not on top of--Jade. He probably would have been crushed under your weight otherwise. Jade appears unfazed however, sighing heavily and closing his book. ]

Dist spies the Malkuth emperor as he crashes onto the snow laden ground, and cannot help but laugh heartily at him, walking over over to get a better look at his humiliation. And maybe check if he was all right. He grins in his usual fashion, wide and gleaming, and utters between chuckles.]
