RAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!
[Winter time is fun time. Somewhere in the area of houses, there's a fontechnician. He is standing outside in front of his house, screaming bloody murder and stomping his feet into the snow in vain. He's completely frustrated and outraged at the sight of his house and lab.]
W-wha-what WHAT IS THIS? MY HOUSE!!! MY BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!!! MY LAB!!! MY FONBOTS!!!
[His house/lab is no longer a normal house/lab, but a gigantic fantasy gingerbread house! /o/ Even his robots friends, who were chillin' on his snow covered lawn, were somehow turned into brightly colored sweet pastries and confections.]

You can have the bed, I'll sleep on the floor. Uh...i-if you're hungry, I can make you something! [She instantly brightens, and poses in the best way, arm raised high above her head while the other stays on her hip.] Little Big Chef - Anise Tatlin - can make any dish! And please any palate! ♥
[Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. She hoped, at least. I mean...it was still Dist. She wasn't going to just forgive him for the things he's done that easily...even with amnesia. Still, she did owe him this much. Anise knew what it was like to sleep on the streets. It wasn't fun, especially in the cold.]

No, I'll sleep on the floor tonight-! Ah, you cook? Well, I would like to try whatever you make!
no subject
No, it's okay. I'll take the floor, I insist. You're my...uh..guest. [Oh, Yulia, that was painful. And it still sounded wrong.] And I have some ingredients for Pasta! Is that okay?
[It better be, that was all she had. Anise needed to go and get more foodstuffs soon. And maybe try and find a new place to stay. She was getting sick of this tiny little attic.]

[Well, he's going to make himself comfortable and lies down a bit while watching her.]

[And Anise does just that, cleaning off the stove before putting a pot and some water onto it. She adds a bit of salt and waits for the water to boil. In the mean time...it's time to get down to business. Anise approaches Dist and sits on the end of the bed, glancing at him awkwardly.]
So...what do you remember, Dist? Do you remember the Order at all?

Dist glanced into her eyes and paused into self reflection at her questions.]
Bits and pieces. The farthest up that I remember is being in Daath, working on the first prototype of Dist Kaiser.

Well, It's a start. Anise nods, then moves a little closer. She tilts her head to get a better look at the older man, then shakes her head, leaning over him, and removes his glasses. They'd break if you slept with them on, silly.]
Well, I can't remember if you had that big thing finished or not when I was in the Order, but...it was a little over two years ago that I joined as a Fon Master Guardian. You were a God-General then, Dist the Rea--er, Rose. [Anise glances nervously at him, then continues, fiddling with the curls of her pigtails.] I was only eleven, and it was lunchtime in the mess hall. I didn't know anyone, and there weren't many available places to sit...
Then I spotted you sitting all alone in one corner, and I sat with you. You looked kind of lonely, too. You weren't really nice at first, but you let me sit with you! After that, we sat together again, and kind of talked. Uhm... [Anise pauses, frowning a little at the memory. Her tone gets a little dark, and softer.] When I became Ion's attendant, many of the other, older girl's picked on me...They would trip me and make me drop important reports and papers.
One day, though, they threw water on me and made me drop Tokunaga and a lot of important documents. They...even stepped on Tokunaga, to the point where his stuffing was coming out. [Anise wraps her arms around her snuggly dolly, hugging him tight and rubbing her face against his plush ears.] But then you showed up and chased those bimbos away, Dist! I got mad at you, though, because you said something mean...Though I don't think you really meant it. And the next day or two, you didn't come to lunch.
On the third day, I sat with you again, and you talked about yourself a little...well, a lot. But afterwards, you gave me Tokunaga~! And he was all stitched up, too~ And you remade him so he can get really big so I could fight better.
[Anise smiles fondly at her doll, then at the man who made him for her. She never would have gotten this far if you hadn't have done that, Dist.] It was really nice of you, since I don't think many people liked you that much. Thanks again, Dist, you're not a bad guy at all. ♥

Your story feels so familiar...thank you for sharing me your story, Anise.

Anise prepares the meal, smiling and humming a little, even as he speaks. It feels so peaceful...so relaxing. Anise is really glad to have company, even if it is Dist. In truth, she's happy it's him. She never really hated him, just what he was doing in her world.]
I'm glad I could help. I-I...I hope you get your memories back soon...[Oh, dear, is that a hint of unease in her voice? Maybe a little. But true to her big-kid nature, Anise forces it away and puts on a smile.] The food is done, too! ♥
[She puts it on two plates, and places the plates on the small table by the window, seating herself and waiting for him.]
I hope you like it.
