It can't be an excuse if there is nothing necessary to do. Love is what gives us the strength to live.

They would have no Score to decide their every action. They would be able to think for themselves and make their own decisions. How is that anything but free?

They will not be mindless pawns. They will be given the knowledge they need to survive on their own, and then they will do so. If you believe that being a replica makes you an equal, then why would you doubt that the replicas would be able to create a world of their own? Do you believe that they are inherently inferior?

I believe that like any newborn, they will need kind and caring people with experience to guide them, to teach them what is right and what is wrong. I've seen how you used them, what they could become..
