LIKE WE NEED MORE REDHEADS. Damnit, Sol.
[ Have a new Luke, DR. This one's from after Eldrant and was suddenly shipped off to Filgaia, a desert planet somewhere in between Western and sci-fi. ]
[ In either case, he suddenly stops and looks around, because what the hell? This... didn't look like Filgaia. He frown, wings fluffing in annoyance. Now where was he? He had just been running from a pack of bandits, gun over his shoulder, and now he's in this place with... green. He hasn't seen so much green in over a year, just a few trees and patches of grass here and there. Nothing really grew well in the poor, rocky soil on Filgaia. So he'll just find a spot by a tree and sit down underneath, one knee drawn to his chest and Rudia, his shotgun, leaning against it. ]
This sucks. At least I'm not being chased, anymore... [ And hey, this was kind of nice. He could almost take a nap here... ]

GUESS WHO. \8D/
Standing a good few meters away, Asch frowns, looking extremely confused and irritated. If this was someone's idea of a joke--! Finally, he spotted that mess of red hair and his face darkened. Of course...of course he'd see the replica here, too. Asch approached slowly, opening his mouth to say something, but his eyes found the wings first and he blurted out without thinking.]
What the hell happened to you?
GEE, IDK. 8|;;;;
[ Luke whipped around when he heard that condescending tone of voice. ... Yes, that is how he remembers Asch. He just stared, clenching the strap on his shotgun. No way... but he was... He saw him, over a year ago! He knew he saw him die--he felt it. And without thinking, just like his original, Luke practically flew at him and enveloped him in a hug. He hadn't seen anyone from Auldrant in so long; he missed everyone, even and especially his surly original. Of course, he didn't even consider the fact that he might be hallucinating, but hey. Sorry about being accosted by a replica first thing upon entering the DR, Asch. 8| ] Asch...! It's... It's really you! I thought you died, so how...?
I'm just that good with disguises.
What the hell are you talking abo--[vjckcx--WHAT THE HELL?! Asch raised his arms and stared, wide-eyed and slack-jawed before shoving the dreck off, snarling.] Are you insane, replica?! Did you hit your head or something?! And what are you talking about?
[Died? Excuse me? Did the idiot's brain finally dissolve into nothing? And what's with the outfit, and the wings? Were they real? He reached out curiously, aiming for said feathery appendages.]
... Or lack of.
I just... I saw you die. ... You were stabbed by Oracle soldiers on Eldrant... Don't you remember?
[ Luke just frowned. He didn't mean to piss him off, but he had just been so happy... ] I haven't-- [ HISS. Flapflap! Get off! Don't touch! And backing away slightly. ] H-Hey, don't do that...! They're really sensitive...
<< Shut up, dreck.
I think those wings are messing with whatever brain you've got in that thick head, reject! I never even went to Eldrant, yet. I was preparing to board the Albiore to go there, but then ended up...here. [He gestured to their surroundings absently, then turned back to Luke.] And answer my question, dreck. What are are those, and how the hell did you come into possession of them? And the get-up, you look even more ridiculous than usual.
HAHAHAHAHA no.
[ And... deflating. That... really bothered him. He suddenly didn't want Asch to go to Eldrant, not after knowing what happened to him. He had thought about it for a long time. There were so many things that had gone wrong with that battle... Not having left his sword with him, not staying back to help Asch fight... He'd been stupid. As usual. So he'd just frown at him and fold his arms to hide what he was thinking. ]
You didn't ask me that, Asch. They're wings, obviously. ... [ Sigh. ] Do I have to explain the whole story? This clothing is better for walking around the wasteland in. [ Okay, fine... ] ... I'm not from Auldrant, anymore. I'm from another land called Filgaia. I think it's another planet... The entire place is a desert wasteland; even the oceans are made of sand, because monsters overran the planet and there was something about this huge war fifty years ago... I don't know. It's confusing, and I only have bits and pieces.
And I got the wings from having a Medium absorbed into my body. They're what's left over of a fire Guardian called Moor Gault. [ He shifted the shotgun strapped over his shoulder. ] I've had to fend for myself for over a year, and I've also been on the run from bounty hunters. It's been difficult since I can't easily go into towns to rest or buy supplies... I'm what's called a Drifter on Filgaia, just traversing the wasteland.
... Anyway... You can't go to Eldrant. If you do, you should go with the rest of the party... [ Not meeting his gaze, now. ] And avoid the room with stairs leading down and a giant seal on the floor. Tell your Luke that, too. [ Because he figures this isn't his Asch. ]
>(
When Luke finally comes to the part of not being from Auldrant anymore...well, Asch's brows shoot way up. He continues to listen to the lengthy story and though it sounds so unreal the former God-General is sure of one thing. The replica is way too damn stupid to come up with this on his own. Still, it's hard to swallow.]
Tch, fine, whatever. I'll buy your story for now, replica, since there's evidence of it being fact. [He nods to Luke's wings with a look of sheer distaste.
Bitches stop messing with MY replica.] And don't tell me what to do! I tried joining your little group before but you were too much of an idiot to be around for more than two seconds! [He frowns, but considers the warning.] ...All right. Now tell me more about those wings. Can they maintain flight? You said they were sensitive to touch... [Brb, going to inspect them a little. Curious original is curious.]

[ Luke just crosses his arms, still staring away from his original. He feels Asch's eyes on his wings and curls them in closer to his body. Damn things...! They've brought him nothing but grief! ] ... I guess it's hard to believe, huh.
[ ... Sigh. Just sigh. Asch was still Asch... Then again, if he was from the time he thought he was... then perhaps he was still at that breaking point. Luke has had a lot of time to figure things out during those long, cold nights. ] Why does it matter? They're abominations; can't even do anything except be a pain in my ass. Considered just hacking them off one time, but Moor Gault got pissed at me...

supposedlydied, anyway. Don't dwell on things you cannot undo, Luke. It only make you bitter. Besides, half of the problem was Asch's own stupidity and bullheadedness for rushing into Eldrant without thinking and getting himself trapped.Asch frowns, watching the replica try to hide his wings from him, but stares back at with with a beautiful sneer.] If you weren't such a halfwit, I'd think you were delusional.
[Asch was about to make a very snide, and hurtful remark, but his brows shoot right up for a second before knitting together dangerously. Idiot replica, don't you ever think?!] Don't be stupid! If they're molded into your skeletal structure, simply "hacking them off" would kill you. Do you ever think before you do anything, reject?! If they're there, then you can't do much about it. Don't go disfiguring yourself just because you look even more like an idiot than usual.

[ He feels especially self-conscious about his stupid wings around Asch. ] Think what you want. My story's true--these are proof, unfortunately. And this. [ He gestures to the shotgun. He certainly didn't know how to use one on Auldrant. He hadn't even pulled the trigger of one, before. ]
[ ... Ugh. Blahblahblah. Can't he go two seconds without getting a pointless lecture from Asch? He's not a child, anymore. ] Asch, how about you listen before you scold me over nothing. I said I considered, not that I would ever really do that. Besides, how do you propose I get my sword back there for a clean cut? [ He just frowns and looks away from him, wings puffing up in annoyance. ]

Asch knows. And that last bit is so true it's not even funny. 8|]I already said I believed you, didn't I? [He gives the gun a once over, raising his brow. Guns weren't his thing, that's more Lagretta's line of expertise.] I hope you haven't been neglecting the sword in favor of a gun, replica. Your talents with the sword weren't all that great to begin with. [Lie.] So--
[Asch blinks, raising a brow. Oh, wow. Did his replica suddenly grow a backbone? And even a bit of intelligence? Asch silences himself and sneers, turning on his heel to leave. It's obvious the dreck didn't know where they were, so he'd have to find out himself.] Tch...

Asch...8|;;;; ]I guess you kind of suggested you did. [ Snarking. ] I can't practice my sword as much. It's hard to beat a group of bandits that all have guns when you have a blade. [ Because swords don't shoot bullets. Also rolling his eyes at the last statement. He still has the Key of Lorelei strapped to his back, but Rudia--his affectionately-named ARM--took precedence. ]
[ And so he'll just kind of revel in the fact that he won that argument, smirk, and follow Asch. He'd like to know what info Asch found out, too. ] Tch, yourself. Maybe we'll run into someone who knows where we are.

[Asch walked on, then grimaced when he realized Luke was following. Ugh. What did he do to deserve this kind of torture? And it didn't seem like he could pass him off to anyone close by, either. Unless the replica was dim enough to have a conversation with a tree or boulder. ...Hm.]
'We', will do no such thing. You can go off on your own, replica! Don't follow me!! [And he increases his pace stubbornly.]
no subject
[ No, Luke's not dim enough.
But Asch might be. LOL.]Geez, fine. Be like that. Didn't really miss your temper tantrums, anyway... [ DON'T MIND HIM, ASCH, HE'S JUST VENTING. and he'll be turning to go off in a different direction, then. ]
no subject
Damn, he'll have to think of another plan, then.
DAMN FABRE GENES.And ooh, you are so luck he was far enough away to not hear that little whisper. He would have turned around and fonic arte'd you into replicajelly. :\ But for now, he'll just continue briskly on his way, not even bothering to grace the winged dreck with a verbal response. He'd only be a burden anyway.]

FABRE GENES GET THEM EVERY TIME. Also, way to insult Mother and Father, Asch.][ Thankfully, Luke's managing to get around. Exploring is what he does best~! He'll just go find someone else to chat with~ ]
