[He's been here for too long. No, he's been stuck here too long with no way of getting home. None that he knew of, at least. And he'd tried looking for information in too many places. Nothing helped.
Asch was exhausted. He had kept himself in top form with some sword, fonic arte, and even hyperresonance training. He didn't want to fall behind in case he sudden;y did return home somehow. There was no room for error now. He'd been leaving for Eldrant before ending up here, so Asch couldn't afford to be weak.
The sun was setting over a large field outside the village where he had been training. Large scorch marks littered some parts where he used Explosion and Thunder Blade, and there were some definite holes punched into the boulders around, but Asch himself was watching the sun set over the horizon peacefully. The wind swept as his face gently, making his hair and bangs sway. He liked places like this - big, wide, open, quiet. A place where he could really think.
And relax.
His sword was right beside him, dug into the ground, but Asch's eyes were on the rolling clouds painted in beautiful colors across the sky. Most of them were reds, yellow, and oranges, but some purple and blue tinted the darker parts. It was...really nice. He hadn't ever had time to really just sit and relax like this before.
People are welcome to come across the stoic redhead on their way out of or back towards the village. Hell, he might not even glare at you that much.Unless you're Luke.]

Maaaybe~Asch unlocked the door and pushed the door open, not waiting for Luke to enter. He went right in and sat on his bed. There was another, smaller one to the side. It looked a little awkwardly set up now, but it worked. Asch began removing little parts of his uniform - his tabard, gloves, and the belt holding his sword and sheath - and set them on his bed.
The silence was...strange. Usually Asch liked it, and he always wanted the replica to shut his mouth, but in this kind of situation, it was just nerve-wracking. He dug through his pockets and procured a bit of money. Not much, but enough. Asch tossed it right onto Luke's bed carelessly.]
Go eat, if you're hungry. There's a restaurant and bar downstairs. Just ask the innkeeper. If that's not enough, tell them to charge this room.
ASCH, YOU'RE TURNING INTO A VAMPIRE. YOU SPARKLE.
I think Asch would appreciate it, don't you?][Luke simply went over to his bed as well, slipping off his jacket to lay on the bed, followed by his gloves and belt. He lay down on the bed and sighed, closing his eyes. He really just wanted nothing more than to have sleep claim him.]
[He turned over slightly when some money landed next to him and felt oddly insulted, but the feeling quickly subsided into gratitude. He debated not going down, but... Asch was being really generous. He sat up and took the money, glancing up at Asch and offering a small smile.] Thanks... Do you want anything? [He'd bring something back for him, anyway.]
Come closer, I'll bite you. B)
Depends on the Asch. :|aUgh, it felt so weird having the replica thank him, and then sharing the same living space, sleeping in the same room. What the hell was he thinking?! Asch was just about to remove his boots when he looked up suddenly.]
What? ...No, I don't want anything. [It was only a half lie. Asch was pretty hungry - training kind of does that to you - but wasn't going to ask the dreck for anything. If he was hungry, he'd get it himself later. Yes, Asch is that stubborn.]
... D-Don't bite me...! o///o
... You know which Asch I mean.][Stubborn prick. Well, Luke will bring him back a little something, anyway, because he's like that. He stood up and left the room after a second, going downstairs to the restaurant. He took a look at the menu and suddenly wondered what Asch would like. ... Well, since he was his original, chicken it was! He had to have the same tastes, right? So he ordered two rotisserie chicken dinners, complete with mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh steamed veggies, and a hot roll. He just sat at the bar and smelled it cooking. Mmm...]
[His mood improved considerably after that. Chicken was always a mood-booster. He was a bit confused, however, when the waitress gave him a bottle of wine and only charged half price for that and the meals. She gave him a wink and said that it was on her to serve two handsome twins. He blushed and paid for the food, quickly taking it upstairs. He opened the door to their room and set the food on the table.] Here. I got yours for free. [Well, that was half-right. He still ordered it for him.] And she gave me this, too. [He held up the wine bottle, blinking and smiling sheepishly.]
But you're so tasty... >D
Well, there went his retort of "I didn't need anything!" Asch shut his mouth with a frown, but he didn't utter any thanks, just a grunt and a nod of his head to put it down somewhere. He did, however, take a stern look at the wine and his frown evolved into a beautiful scowl.]
Are you stupid or something? You can't drink that, idiot!! You're not of age! [Neither was he, but details.]
.///. nngh...
[He's also not going to mention how awkward talking to a girl who actually wanted into his and Asch's pants was. ... But mmm, chicken. All else was forgotten as soon as he took a bite of it. Heaven...~ |D] This is really good... [He hadn't realized how hungry he was, and it was nice to have a distraction for the moment, though surely he'd be lying awake most of the night afterward. The distraction couldn't last forever.]
Fufufu~
Asch put down his sword and the cloth he was using to polish it, walking over to the table where Luke, and more importantly his own chicken, was and sat down.]
The food here is usually better than the service.
[He'd take to ignoring the replica after the first bite, by the way. Asch wasn't one for small talk, especially with Luke. Plus, mmm...chicken. Though Asch was starving, he continued to eat politely, if a bit stiffly.]
.///. B-Be gentle...
[Luke didn't mind the silence as they ate, though he was feeling rather self-conscious about his table manners after he observed Asch's. He really was a noble, wasn't he? He belonged back at the manor... but it didn't matter much, did it? He pushed around the vegetables on his plate, only eating his meal half-heartedly. It was so easy to see he was upset over something, seeing as how he wore his heart on his sleeve.]
Always, bb. <3
This silence was growing more and more awkward by the second, especially when the replica is sitting across the table from you and staring. Normally, this level of peace and quiet was like blissful heaven, but...ugh. Asch couldn't take it any longer. He finished what was in his mouth and broke the silence.]
Eat your food and stop looking around. [And after another beat, he actually looks up at Luke.] ...What are you thinking of?
f-ffffff ////
[He didn't mind the silence so much, really. It was better than having Asch talking down to -- never mind.]
[Sigh. Yes, Mother. He'll eat slowly, then. Mm, chicken... This was so good~ <3 He paused when Asch spoke again, blinking at him and offering a half-hearted smile.] Nothing, really. [Typical idiot replica, right, Asch? B|]
