[SUP, DR! GUESS WHAT? IT'S TOTALLY AUTUMN.

And what do people do in autumn? They rake leaves. BUT THAT'S FOR UNCOOL PEOPLE. And Anise is definitely not uncool. So, she got Tokunaga to bunch up a huge pile of leaves outside the plaza where she went shopping for various foodstuffs and warmer clothing and is proceeding to climb a tree to dive right into it.

She grins broadly from her perch on the low branch, looking down at the huge pile, before she springs, calling out an attack name just for the hell of it. She is so mature I can't even.]

Eagle Dive!

[With a soft ploff! Anise lands in the leaves and giggles loudly and happily. Her hair, ~~which was cut by PRICKFACE!LUKE~~, was grown out a good deal by now, and was held aloft in her two bouncy pigtails. It was still much shorter than usual, and kind of uneven, but she didn't mind much. She was just happy to have her pigtails back! And to be having a moment of calm and happiness.

Sure, she had things to do, stuff to make, etc., but...responsibilities are not Anise's strong point. Not when there were fun things like Leaves to jump around in!

Oh, and if she know you, ~~and isn't terrified of you~~, she will be dragging you over to play.

[ Don't mind a Luke walking through your general vicinity, Anise. And even better, this one's not a prickface! Thankfully, he's already dressed for the warm weather. And Anise might notice that he looks rather different from your usual Lukes, namely the slightly longer hair and the shotgun strapped to his back. He hardly ever uses it here, but he just feels more comfortable carrying it around. ]

[ But upon seeing someone hopping off a branch into a huge pile of leaves, he stopped in his tracks. No way... It couldn't be... ]

ANISE! [ Better dodge that excited replica barreling ~~slight pun intended~~ over to you. He hasn't seen Anise in well over a year. ]

[Whoa, what? Who's that? Anise sits up with leaves sticking to her hair and blinks. It was Luke! ...Luke with a fucking huge gun strapped to his back. Um. Trauma coming back to her in little spats.

Yeah, she's just going to stare for a second like a deer in headlights.]

[But when he gets closer, and she sees that face, that smile... She knows for sure.

This is Luke. This is the Luke she knows. The Luke she loves.]

L-LUKE!!

[She scrambles to get up and rush over to him, beaming and grinning brightly. Luke. It was Luke! Anise hadn't seen a Luke for a little while, and she missed him. But...the leaves...are kinda hard to move in. So yeah, she's a sitting duck. Feel free to collide into her, she kinda wants it, judging from how wide her arms are for a big hug.]

[ And like the derp he is, he doesn't even take notice of the scared look because ANISE~! 8D He dropped his gun from his shoulder onto the ground nearby -- because he wouldn't want it to accidentally go off -- and practically launched himself into the leaves, grabbing Anise in an epic maneuver to roll them through the pile. Luke was laughing and his wings were curled against his back to keep them from being crushed with all the movement. He stopped on his back and held her up, grinning and panting. ] I haven't seen you in so long...!

[Anise gasped, and reflexively wrapped her arms tightly around the redhead's neck and shoulders, laughing all the way. She felt the crinkle of leaves as they rolled, the warmth of her friends body, and heard the sound of his breath and laughter. It was wonderful. The action felt so much longer than it really was, and Anise had no problems with that at all.

When they finally stopped and she was lifted up a little, she spread out her hands like she was flying, giggling and reaching out to hold onto him again.]

Boo, I've always been here, you moron! You just didn't look hard enough!! [But she forgives you. ♥]

[ Luke was definitely enjoying this place. It was so much more peaceful than either planet he's been to. Luke let her down and hugged her to his chest, grinning. ]

Maybe you were just hidden in the leaves, then. [ But whatever. ANISE! 8D ] Damn... I miss being home with you guys.

[Eh, Anise has mixed feelings. It was nice to live without war and the threat of the world ending, but she barely got to see her friends and family that much. But those rare instances when she could enjoy their company...it was always awesome.

She latched onto Luke, panting and grinning just as wide as he was. Mmm, snuggly. Don't mid her cuddling, Luke, you're awfully warm, and the weather's a bit chilly.]

But you still found me. You better not and try to sell me off, Luke, boo! I'm priceless~ [Another tight squeeze.] I missed you too, Luke... But how come you have a gun? You could barely swing around a sword before!

[You know she kids, right? <.<]

[ Luke didn't mind at all. He just sighed a happy sigh and lay there in the leaves. First Asch, now Anise... Maybe he would see the others soon, too. ]

Not that I'd get much... [ YOU DIDN'T HEAR THAT. ] Oh! Uh, well... I ended up in a different place after Eldrant, and they use guns there. I'd be dead if I just stuck with my sword.

H-Hey! I was never that bad, am I...?

[Anise had only seen her Asch, a few other Lukes, and some Guy's for a while. She really missed Tear and Natalia, and the Colonel...she missed him lots, too. Ion, the most, though. Just the fact that this place could let her see him again...]

BOO, LUKE, YOU MEANIE!! [Totally heard that. B| /puffer fish.] W-Wait, you mean...after you freed Lorelei? You got sent to another place entirely? ...Whoa. Can you use it? [Show me, show me, show meeee! 8'D]

Well, at first you were pretty bad, but you did get loads better as we went along! Just like everyone else, I think. We really improved our skills, huh? But I was still the cutest~

[ Luke's seen two Asches and one Luke. And the Luke creeped him out. ~~Because he's the older version of the one who gave you that hackjob.~~ ]

[ Luke grinned and poked at Anise's cheeks. He really did miss her. ] Yeah, after Lorelei was freed. It was weird, really... [ HUFF. ] Can I use it... Of course.

[ Have a pout, Anise. Some things never change. ] Yeah, except Jade. Jade just caught up with himself, I guess. Cute like my foot.

[Yeaah...Lukes are pretty creepy, huh? |D ~~Trust us when we say he's loads better than the one who did give her the cut.~~

H-Hey that is not cool, you can't do that! Anise snapped playfully at his fingers, but then leaned against his chest and just held him. She wasn't up to that point before she got here, but just...just knowing Luke was going to leave, and having it confirmed here, Anise held him tighter.]

...But you came back. [She smiled, nuzzling against his heart, then took a deep breath and did a total 180. No time for moping!] I wanna see it!!

Boo, that's true. The Colonel's just a cheater, so he couldn't really improve. It's kinda scary to think he could even get stronger. He'll take over the world, I think, if he weren't so lazy.

[ Yup. He's the only sane one. Oh, and that Asch with the wings. ~~Oh god.~~ ]

[ Luke grinned and pulled back his hand before he lost a finger in loli teeth. He hugged her and smiled. ] Yeah. Kinda... I've been trying to find a way back to Auldrant, but I haven't been successful so far. [ Laugh. ] Okay, okay. Get off me, first.

... That's... not something I really wanna think about. Now get up before you suffocate me. Geez, lay off the sweets, will you? [ Grin. ]

[So wings = sanity? ...That's totally doubtful, considering who they're attached to.

Anise grinned, gnashing her teeth threateningly at her friend. Don't worry, she'd never purposely bite him. She hugged back, but then got up and off of him, plucking the leaves from her hair and clothes.] ...You'll do it. You got here, right? That's something! And fine, fine, I'm off, boo. Now hurry up! I won't believe you until I see something cool.

[WHAT. The puffer fish pout is back in full force. Along with the lolifists of JUSTICE.] Boo, Luke!! Boo, boo, boo! You don't ever mention a lady's weight to them, or how much they eat! What kind of man are you?!

[Ion decided to go out on his own today and hasn't spotted the pigtailed guardian yet- too many leaves! He isn't the type to just jump right in, but he is smiling at them.] This season is so beautiful...

[/was lost like five seconds ago, but forgot all about that because that jumping into leaves thing looks kinda fun, ooh.]

[Um um, staring over from the side now, a tiny Tokunaga ~~version 00~~ clasped behind her back.]

... What'cha doing?

[ Yes! ... Hey! They're sane, just not too bright. ]

[ Pfft. He'll bare his teeth back, lolibrat. He got up and did the same before going over to pick up his shotgun. He held it away from Anise when she came over with her lolifists of justice ]

Okay, okay! I'm sorry, just stop hitting me! Let me show you.

[Sup, Ion. Anise hasn't spotted you, either, since she kind of sank into that pile of leave before and her hand come SHOOTING OUT SUDDENLY.

Hope she, uh...didn't give you heart failure or something.]

[Anise blinks, picking herself up from the pile she just hopped into.]

Well, it's harvest time! This is when the leaves change color and fall off the trees, so old people rake them up into huge piles for us young adults to...jump...into.

[Stare.]

[STARE.]

[WHAT THE FU--]

[I shall call it....]

Whoa! You're so super tiny!! You're name's Anise, right~? Wanna play in the leaves with me? Ooh, you even have a tiny Tokunaga, too!

If this isn't proof I'm a super cute idol, then everyone else can totally suck it.

[He flails before promptly falling over backwards with a sharp gasp, staring at the hand that shot up in absolute terro- oh hey, that hand has a glove on it. How anticlimactic.] H-Hello?

[Totally didn't hear that last bit. But she did hear that so super tiny comment, and that's making her pout a little.]
