[If someone had blinked, they might have missed it. One minute there was nothing out of the ordinary to look at, and by the next a wormhole had dropped Asch in a heap on the ground and tried to consume a bit of the nearby landscape as payment for its services.]
[Asch was still breathing, as a matter of fact, though he seemed a little worse for wear. Being transported from one end of the universe to another tends to do that to a person.]
[[OOC: What do I even call this? "SpaceAdventures!Asch"...? He's gonna retain all his memories from his former game.I still have a month paid left and ughhh...]]

I think you just don't like apples. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, Asch~]Infinite Improbability Drive... That sounds like a machine that even I would like. [Chaos. Jade likes it. He also obviously has no idea what you're rambling about.]
no subject
There's nothing wrong with apples! B\ It's cephalopods I hate!][Yeah, that becomes pretty obvious within a short span of time. He wouldn't play dumb about this? No, not after their last meeting...]
[Asch heaves a frustrated sigh and falls into a brooding silence. This has not been his day.]
....
Pardon my late. I had finals, then doctor, then cold. B| ... FML.
Oh, I do believe the Octopus Gel heals HP and FP fully. Care to have one~?][Jade's just going to wait a beat before standing up. He really hated explaining, but there wasn't a Guy around to make him do it for him.] You seem to be all right. In any case, if you're referring to something from your world... [Glasses.] I doubt you'll find it here.
Think of this as a nexus of worlds, so to speak. I'm most likely not the Jade you're familiar with.
It's all right. Art preparations are slowing me down.
Augh.]Of course I'm all right. [Ignoring what happened earlier, of course. Asch finds his footing as naturally as possible... which is about three times more stiffly than usual, but at the very least he doesn't keel over again.]
[So this was some other world, with no SS Thor. And yet, there were familiar faces here. How could that be? Was he dead, dreaming? Was this where all the people who had been wormholed from various Auldrants went to? Humph.]
A nexus, huh? That's a new one.
[Asch glanced slowly around him again, not seeming particularly shocked by what Jade was telling him. This was going to be a nuisance.]
Aww. :< What kind of preparations? <3 I like art.
[Actually, that last theory was very, very correct.] It was rather disconcerting for myself, as well. But you'll get used to it. At least there's no lack of red hair, here. [Smile... Jade was being slightly cryptic as usual.]

[Asch glares back at Jade out of the corner of his eye and continues his attempts at stiff walking. He's not very happy about it -- the stiff part. He's not sure what Jade means by the "red hair" remark, but Asch can only imagine it includes his stupid replica.]
[Have a snort.]
What's there to get used to? This is nothing.

[... Well, perhaps Jade will just keep an eye on him for a little bit to make sure he doesn't trip and stumble onto a pointed fence or something.] If you're sure... [And with that, he'll just let Asch hobble off into the sunset if he wants to.]
no subject
[Knowing Asch he would. Trip onto a pointy fencepost that is. Since his hobbling-off-into-the-sunset is not going so well, he turns his head and tries for more information-gathering instead. If he stays still for a while, maybe his body will forget about being stiff.]
For how long have you been here?
Pardon me, tagging drive has been totally shot lately.
[... Sigh. He'd better follow him for a bit longer, then. Though he didn't want to be blamed for a murder if Asch suddenly dropped dead on him...] Hm... I would say about a year, maybe a little more.
I've accepted the fact that I may not return anytime soon. [Glasses. Not that he wants to. The Fon Master was dead and he was sure the Order was in shambles... Though he did worry about Peony and Malkuth. What would Peony do without him there to do his paperwork~?] In that time, I've only been returned to Auldrant once.
Yeah, I hear you. It happens to all of us. :X
[Nobody would be surprised, of course, if Asch suddenly dropped dead. He had an annoying tendency to take on more than he could handle. Was pride or stubbornness to blame?]
[A year, huh? With no known way out. If even the Necromancer couldn't come up with an escape plan, then... would Asch be able to find a way back to the SS Thor? If only he had a ship with him! Though this brought up another concern: how long would he be able to survive in this place? Nothing made any sense, and he was having some serious issues with things he had been told not long ago.]
"Been returned". By what means? Had any time passed since you left?
Plus, I need to play Abyss again because my Jade and Luke muses suck now. :|
[Said Necromancer had tried to find a way back, but the only thing that seemed to work was time. Eventually this city would laugh in your face and send you back for its own-- what do you kids call it? Lulz?]
Unfortunately, yes. [But we're not going into that, nope~] As for the means, well... If you go to sleep enough times, you'll wake up back where you came from, I would imagine~ [Meaning he doesn't know. He just woke up back in his room. :|b]
Me too. Mostly for Luke and Natalia, I think. And Tear. Asch again? Lol I just played it. =^=;
[Asch's brow furrows slightly - not in anger, though, in thought. He doesn't exactly get an opportunity to delve further into that topic (this is Jade, after all, and it'd be easier to get straight answers from a housecat) but he supposes a "yes" or "no" is enough. So it's a case of probability - or improbability. At random.]
...In other words it just happens, or it doesn't.
AAAAA YOU PLAY NATALIA AND TEAR AND LUKE TOO? 8DDD
Essentially, yes. [He stuck his hands in his pockets with a smile. always that damn smile.] It could be a week before you go back, or months. As much as I hate to admit in a higher power, it does seem like some consciousness is at work, here.
Uhhh... Luke in a game. Nat in a game, but she's like brand new and it's scary... [cont.]
[That infuriatingly unnerving smile that makes Asch get all twitchy.]
Humph! Better than not going back at all. At least this place is relatively normal. ["Normal" was always relative.]
Who else is here?
Ffffff. That's still cool. <3 And I think I know which Tear. 8D
[Relative is right. Just wait until you meet a copy of yourself, Asch. There are plenty around. And plenty of drecks to pick on, too.] Oh, I think I'll let you find that out for yourself. If anything, you can be thankful that any dangers are minimal in this place.
If you know which Tear, you know more than I do.
[Not exactly the type of response Asch wanted. It seemed better to scoff at it than to let Jade see that he was becoming genuinely irritated.]
[Fine, so Asch would do some exploring after he'd recovered. The last thing he wanted was to overtax himself and be found sprawled on the ground somewhere. ...again.]
"Minimal" dangers, huh? Hardly. If you want me to be thankful, at least come up with a more believable incentive.
I think that's right. lol. WE NEED MORE TEARS AND NATALIAS.
But I'm telling the truth. There aren't any monsters around terrorizing the peasants, nor any damsels in distress to save. I'm afraid this place is rather... lackluster.
...I should throw them in here for practice. :|
[Under normal circumstances, it'd have sounded boring, but Asch has seen more than enough "exceptional" stuff in the past months. He's just fine with a lackluster world where he can... ...relax? No! He can't let his guard down for even a moment. He needs to find a way back. But... maybe this'll at least be a quiet place to think. So long as he doesn't keep bumping into more people.]
That suits me just fine. Less distractions.
[He glances off into the distance for a moment before resuming his awkward trek.]
YES YES! 8D Do eeeet~ x>
[So he'll just watch him hobble off into the sunset again before turning and resuming his own business. See you later, Asch~]
