I won't allow you to be so vain. Asch chose his path, honorably, to the end. It was something he felt he must do. He did what he felt he had to. My only regret is the time you took from us both.

His sacrifice helped us move forward.


I will never fault you for that. I refuse to give you any credit whatsoever.

It's a greater respect to remember the choice he made, instead of the circumstance that led to it. That's what you meant, isn't it?
