[Luke rubs his neck sheepishly. He was honestly expecting to be scolded for paying more attention to the puppy than to her. That was rude, wasn't it?

It had been easy in the manor. He mostly only ever interacted with the servants, and he was never really expected to worry about their feelings. Now, in the outside world, he had to worry about so much more.

Still, he didn't regret it. Luke was just happy that his friends had been so patient and forgiving with him.]
