(no subject)

[Today, Abyss DR, you'll find one small child plopped down in the middle of a pathway. He blinks and squints in the sudden sunlight, then turns his head away to try and block it out, not realizing that raising your hand to do so would accomplish the same thing. Once he dares to open his eyes again...

He looks confused, then scared. Of course, he's not sure what that uncomfortable feeling is that seizes his chest and makes the beating in it increase its speed, but he knows that it's unpleasant, and it makes him want to get away from whatever's causing it.

Where was he, anyway? This was bright with colors and shapes he's never seen before, not the dark, muted walls of the castle. He shouldn't be here, right? He was told to wait. Well... dropped to the floor and continuously pushed down every time he tried to follow that man until he got the message, anyway. But that message still rings clear - he needed to stay there. And he's not there anymore.

So, he's going to try to scoot and drag his way to a space between two buildings. It doesn't look as bright, so it's practically the same thing, right? Still... where was he?]

[[OOC: Hi everyone! Luke is as new as I am to this place, and not only that, but he's only about... oh, an hour or two old. Have fun with that!]]

[Shut up, Asch was never the sharpest sword out there. 8| Blame the genes. He sighs a little bit, then scoots over to Luke himself. Ugh, that was uncomfortable, moving while crouched and injured, but he ignored it. He had other things to worry about right now.]

...Off. Clothes come off.

[And he's removing Luke's...well, whatever they were. Rags, perhaps. Asch would have to get him some real clothes later. He can use one of his shirts to sleep in for tonight. It'd be huge on him, but it'd be better than nothing.]

There. Off.

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-14 10:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Off.

[Asch checks the tub, and brings the little replica closer, as he turns the faucet off, the water slowing to a drippy stop as the handle squeaks. Again, Asch repeats the word he said before - off. He just turned the water off.

He tests the water his a few fingers, satisfied with the temperature (warm, not hot), and looks sideways at Luke - careful not to look anywhere but his face. Asch will forever be a prude, truly. This better not be like trying to wash a cat or something... Asch could only take so much yowling and whining from the older dreck, let alone the littler one.

Just....how does he begin? 8|a Should he slowly put him in? IS THERE A METHOD TO IT? Screw babysitting, where is Guy.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-15 12:22 am (UTC)(link)
[Asch watches, curiously, as Luke plays with the water, watching and touching and...splashing. Oh, marvelous. He could see this bath ending in disaster already. He glances over his shoulder, and sighs in relief at the amount of towels he was given. He'll leave a tip for the maid tomorrow morning - no doubt they'll be of use very soon.

Okay, but now it's your turn, little dreck. Asch takes a gentle hold of Luke and lifts him up and carefully eases him right into the water, letting him sit down in the tub. ...There. Good. No screaming, yet.

Asch will just...grabs a few towels and put them around the edge of the tub, just in case, then begin to drip water from his cupped hand onto Luke's shoulders and arms. He'll do his hair in a little bit.]

I don't have anything you can play with.

[Should he get toys for hi--No! No, he's not staying for more than a few days! This was the replica, after all! Asch has no obligation to care for him!]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-19 08:05 pm (UTC)(link)
[OH GOD, THIS WAS A HORRIBLE IDEA. Asch's face sours at the water splashing over the side of the tub, and he's so glad for the numerous towels he put down before. They'd certainly absorb some of the water, at the least. ...He's going to have a lot to clean up after, though, rrrgh. Still, Asch's going to cut off Luke's little play session rather quickly, if he wants to save his bathroom.

Asch dips his hands into the water and drops it right over Luke's head with a bit of a smirk. He's not afraid of the kidlet getting hurt or anything - it was just water - but it does feel kind of good for the small, slightly sadistic part of him. Plus, it was just funny to watch the little dreck makes faces like that. And he'll do it again, too. Just twice, to also get Luke's hair wet before he really began to actually clean him, and wait for Luke's reaction, smirking like the smug bastard that he is.

Feel his wrath, replica.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
[...Huh. He's not screaming. This is actually a good sign, though Asch also wonders if Luke is all right or something. He didn't break the little dreck, did he?

But...wait. He's laughing now? What the hell is wrong with you, kid, most children scream like freaks when they get water dumped over their heads. Thankfully, he wasn't like that, but still! He would always seen the Daathic children having baths out in washtubs outside (the less wealthy side of the city) when the weather was nice and the children almost always were in tears. So this was...odd.]

Again?

[That's what it looked like, at least. Asch repeated the action, and carefully dumped another, smaller handful of water over Luke's head. Really, though, he had to begin washing him soon.]

[--rrrrrrbvjkbcn.

No! No, this was the replica! The dreck! He was not going to get attached to the person who took his entire life away! Asch huffed, then reached silently for a bar of soap and a wash cloth. He wet the cloth gently, then began rubbing the soap into it, getting up a good lather. Once that's done, Asch stoically begins to rub the soapy washcloth over Luke's shoulder, then down his arm, and moved to the opposite side.]

Don't touch your face, it'll hurt.

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
[Pfff--okay, that? That was just hilarious. He was glad the little kid hadn't touched his face or eyes, but the sound, Luke's face, everything was just too funny. Asch snorted and laughed softly as he soaped over Luke's chest next.]

That's soap, Luke. Soap. You can't eat it.

[He snickers again, soaping the dreck's back before beginning to rinse it all off. Good lord, he was filthy...Asch would have to drain the tub before attempting to wash Luke's hair. There was no way he's rinse it out with dirty bath water, yuck.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 10:13 pm (UTC)(link)
[Aaahaha, that's so hilarious. Asch continues to chuckle quietly, and is half temted to just ruffle the little dreck's hair again. Damn him for being so obnoxiously cute. It was really beginning to become a problem. If Asch got too attached, then it'd be difficult to give Luke away to Guy or someone else.]

Correct, soap. You can have real food later.

[He smirked, then flicked the switch to drain the tub. Ugh, that water was positively filthy. There was no way in hell Asch would continue to wash Luke with that disgusting water. But he did have to get Luke to stand to rinse him off and begin washing his hair. He picked Luke up, muttering a quiet "up" as he did, and let Luke balance on him while he reached for the removable shower head and turned it on, again adjusting the temperature to make sure it was nice and warm.

Once that's done, Asch holds Luke up with one arm as he washes off the dirty water, and gets Luke's hair wet to shampoo.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
[D'aw, that'd be cute if it wasn't so pathetic. Asch is definitely going to have to teach the little dreck to walk sometime. Maybe he can begin tomorrow morning or something. It was far too late now, and Luke still hadn't eaten anything, either. He must be pretty hungry...but what should Asch make him? He didn't even know what the replica liked, or could eat right now. Soup, probably. Something not too thick, either.

So as Asch keeps a firm and steady hold on the little dreck, reaching to grab some shampoo and rub it into Luke's hair, he begins thinking on what to feed him. Broth, perhaps? Did he have broth? He could always ask someone to bring him some...but he'd have to pay extra for that. Urgh, and he couldn't leave Luke by himself, either. Looks like he has to dish out the gald, then.]

Don't open your eyes. It'll hurt worse than the soap.

[Because Asch was going to rinse his hair. He actually rinses his hand, first, making sure Luke has a tight grip on his arm, and covers his eyes, then immediately runs the water over his head, making sure none of the shampoo suds get into his eyes or mouth. He considers conditioning his hair, too, but...maybe another time. Luke needed food then to sleep.]

Okay, you're done. Up! [Annd out of the tub you go, and right into a big, warm, fluffy towel.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-25 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
[Nggh, dreck, you should not be this hideously cute. Though Asch won't lie, those high-pitched peals of laughter are pretty loud, but seeing as how they're not screams of terror and the like, he's not going to complain too much. A happy dreck was much better than a screeching, screaming dreck.

...Pff, Luke liked some kind of little bug, all cocooned in that towel. Asch let out an amused smirk, then began rubbing the towel over Luke's body, drying off all the moisture. His hair is next, and Asch steadies Luke carefully while he ruffles the towel through his mess of red hair. Hopefully this doesn't get the kid to screaming. He had been doing pretty damn well about not screaming so far. Mm...but after drying him off, Asch was at a loss of what to dress the kid in. Probably one of his shirts for now. Maybe be could sneak out and quickly get Luke clothes while he was asleep? That could work...]

Okay, done.

[Now to get said shirt. Asch repeats the word "up" as he picks Luke up again, taking him back over to his bed and setting him "down" on the mattress to look through his things.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-26 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
[Jeez, everything about this kid is shocking Asch to near speechlessness. He's so...so well-behaved that it's becoming more and more difficult for Asch to, well, not find a valid reason to give him up. Other than "it's the replica". Plus, every time Luke hugged him around the neck, it...it felt strange, but not wholly unpleasant. Was Luke really that comfortable around him already? The idiot.

Mm, but at least he smelled good now. Asch leaned his face into Luke's hair absently, breathing in. Aah...much better! Now. Clothes! Asch turns over his shoulder every few seconds to make sure Luke didn't topple off the bed or anything as he bounced. After another few minutes, though, he finds a shirt and goes back to the tiny replica child.]

Luke, come here. You'll freeze if you stay like that.

[Reaaaching out to grab the little dreck and properly cloth him. Then food and bed. Yes. That is the plan.]

[identity profile] ashen-knight.livejournal.com 2011-03-28 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
[...Luke, we told you to stop that. That 'cute' thing that you do. 8| It really is becoming harder and harder for Asch to not get attached. He watches Luke stare at his hands and kneels down, putting his hand over where Luke's little one would be, holding it with a few fingers. See? It was still there, silly.

Once that was done, and Luke was dry and clothed, Asch picked him up again and took him towards the small kitchen of his new suite. He'd have to teach Luke how to walk sometime...i-if he didn't find Guy or someone else first! Yes.]

I bet you're hungry. Let's get some food. Just sit for a while, though, I've got to cook it.

[Broth would have to do, as it was really all that Asch had, save for some bread and a few veggies and milk. Just the bare essentials, and he didn't know what kinds of things Luke would and would not eat. Plus, he didn't want to use up everything he had. So onto the table Luke goes. Don't you dare move, either. B| You might fall and get hurt.]
