Asch agreeing to a drink with Emperor Peony? Luke studying more or less willingly? Asch chuckling? Uncle Jade?

It would appear Abyss Dressing Room has inexplicably stumbled upon the four signs of the apocalypse. This must explain why there is suddenly a horde of monsters poised to attack. Redheads! Denizens! Defend your nexus!

...Just be careful with those artes. Looks like the apocalypse is a lot fuzzier and noisier than anticipated. As such, every arte used spawns at least two dozen cheagles. And Mystic Artes spawn about fifty.

[ Oh hey, it's Tear; suddenly, a group of cheagles surround her. Apparently they can tell this is someone who adores them. Either that, or they figure she'll protect them from the monsters.

Just moments after the cheagles run to Tear, Luke in all of his wtf-is-he-wearing glory lands just inches away from them, having jumped back to avoid a ligan from biting him. He turns his head slightly and notices- ] Tear...?

[ At least he's running into reliable people here! He offers her a quick smile before turning his attention back to the monsters. ]

Yulia smiles down on Tears.

[Correct on both counts. Tear spares a look in their direction, voicing a tiny muffled-- very well, it's probably a cooing noise. She truly has no control over it. But soldierly instincts don't allow much more. Her focus shifts back to the battle in time to notice this Luke's evasive maneuver.]

Luke...

[Tear nods briefly before extending her staff.]

Right! I'll provide back up. Inform me if you're in need of healing.

[With that Tear begins chanting the first fonic hymn with the intention of slowing the monsters down.]

Must be nice to be a descendant of Yulia sometimes.

Alright! [ Sure, he's more used to fighting in a back-up role when he's fighting alongside someone lately, but he's had enough time fighting alone that he can take up a frontline position as necessary.

He's focused on getting close to one of the ligans to knock it back with a kick, so he's not quite paying full attention to her hymn. This may or may not produce a fantastic reaction when she finishes. ]
