[Luke decided to go for a walk to clear his mind a bit due to... everything that's happened and that he's found out. Of course, he wasn't really expecting anything big to happen while he's out, but when do things ever go according to that kind of plan? Which would explain the fact that he's found himself facing off with some boarlets, elder boars, and boarrigs.

Not exactly the clear-your-mind, relaxing day he'd expected to have.]

[unfortunately, you took some of the monsters' attention off of Luke... which makes him plant one end of his staff into the ground to use it as a pole of sorts to hold himself as he swings himself feet-first at the back of one of them]

(watches as he does so, pretty amazed)

[jumps back after having successfully gotten their attention back >D] C'mon, stick with someone your own size here...

[or, at least, with the jerk who's got a couple small fonstones in his hand... he takes a moment before holding them to the top of his staff] O' sacred will, strike down those who would be my enemy. Divine Saber!

(still watching in amazement, but then decides to try and help a little by using a fonic arte of his own- so he clenches his eyes shut tight and starts trying to gather the fonons)

[is managing to keep the attention of the couple that are still alive...]

Stalagmite! (and... it's actually pretty small and weak, but he still thinks it'll help)

[shhh, he takes a swipe at the monsters at the same time so that they die and it maybe sort of looks like it's due to Asch's fonic arte]

(looks up after using the arte, seeing the dead monsters) I really did it?

[smiles] You really did it. You were amazing.

...I've never used them in a battle before... I didn't know I was that good.

And you'll only get better, too.
