[Susanne looks tired and bit stressed. And no wonder, she's pretty lost and confused. What is this place? Where are her sons? Her husband? The servants?]

[After a moment she stops, breathing heavily and lowering herself carefully onto a bench. She clasps her hands together in her lap, trying not to worry but failing. She already feels ill, but she can't afford to be sick at a time like this. With her two boys off saving the world, and Herzorg and her brother working so hard for peace with Malkuth, it's absolutely shameful that she can't do more.]

[Just as soon as she catches her breath she'll figure out what's going on.]

[... well that's someone he hasn't seen in a while. A very long while. For a while, he's not sure if he's mistaking things or if that really is her. As soon as he figures it out though, he's on his way over in a hurry.]

Mother? What are you doing here?

[Stupid question. What are any of them doing here? But of all the people this damn nexus had to pull here, why her?! Would she be okay outside the manor...?]

[As soon as she hears his voice and sees him, Susanne is standing, stepping forward to cup Luke's chin in her hands, concerned and relieved. He's safe, he's here. All her other questions are completely irrelevant in this moment because her son is alright.]

[Prepare yourself Luke, for you are about to be hugged fiercely.]

[The hug definitely takes him by surprise, but it's only a few moments before he catches on and returns it, burying his head in her shoulder briefly. He hadn't seen her since... well since he'd stopped by home after neutralizing the miasma. And then there was the nearly two months here. He'd missed her.

After a little while, he pulls back, watching her concernedly.]

O-of course I am. [Liar, but this was one thing he was not going to burden Mother with.] Are you okay?

[It takes her a while to let him go, smiling fondly when she does. Relieved. There's nothing more terrible for a parent than concern over their child, and she's now got two troublesome sons to make her worry! Right now she's happy though, because at least one of them is here and safe.]

Of course I am. You're here. [She smooths his hair from his face, still smiling.]

Though I'm not sure what's going on.

[Well... that's good, that she seems fine for now, though she didn't look so good a little while ago... It's for that reason he'll be keeping an eye on her in case she starts feeling sick or anything. At least they're still near that bench.

But still... man... now he's got to try to explain this place... He never was greatest at explaining things. Not to mention... all the other different Asches and Lukes here... He sighs quietly.]

This place... it's a weird city. I don't know if it has a name... But... we're nowhere on Auldrant that I know of.

[Okay... that... might be a lot to take in at once. Luke gestures toward the bench.]

Uh... do you want to sit down?

[What Luke needs is a handy Guy to pop up and explain everything. Oh well. Susanne looks at Luke expectantly as he attempts, and fails rather miserably, to make anything remotely more clear.]

What do you mean?

[She is thoroughly confused by that statement, but nods reluctantly, taking a seat again and patting the bench beside her for Luke to sit.]
