How delightfully... quaint...~ Hnh~ [He gives a tilt of his head. The new surroundings are confusing, but not disconcerting, considering he can adapt to most any new place. His smirk stays in place and he adjusts his glasses for a moment. He does wonder, however, who is here. Such a wide variety should be around, right~?

After all, a place this big can't be... empty~

Maybe empty in the head, he thinks. He rubs his hands together momentarily, pensive. What shall he do here~?]

Like a ball of clay~ However useless the people were then, I'm sure I can find some pawns here~

[And suddenly, a Jade!]

[He's heard his counterpart's last few words, but he isn't sure what to think of them. On one hand, it could be a joke. On the other hand, he isn't particularly disposed towards villainous monologuing when alone.]

[There's also the matter of his outfit to consider as well.]

[Curiosity piqued, Jade decides not to act until he knows more, and approaches with an amiable smile on his face.]

Greetings. I don't think I've seen you around here before, Other Self. Quite the interesting outfit you're wearing. Daathic, I presume?

[The new Jade is met with thinly veiled scrutiny. There's a flicker of recognition at the uniform, but he says nothing for a long moment. His brow is risen, and the smile is only half-there now.

How... Decidedly odd this was. Jade stayed pensive for a moment longer before the smile returned in full force, the side of his lips twitching.]

That would be because I just arrived~ [The question, for now, seemed to go unanswered.]

[Ah, playing at being evasive now, was he? No matter. Jade is patient.]

I must say you're quite the change from the ones who run around, screeching for someone to take them home.

[His smile doesn't drop at all.]

[As is... Jade. He adjusted his glasses lightly, grin perched on his face.]

[He's slightly...well, not surprised, but he hadn't been expecting his other self to be quite so straightforwardly venomous.]

[The Fon Master tilted her head slightly as she spotted a familiar face. Though however familiar he may be, he was definitely different. Gesture? The way he held himself? He may be wearing new clothes but she knew that it would most likely reflect status rather than a sense of style from him. Goodness knows that man loves a uniform.

But was it actually him? She knew this place liked the throw people for a loop. Tentatively she called out his name.]

Jade?

[The voice was somewhat familiar, but Jade only vaguely recognized it. He turned to face her, a distant expression on his face, though the ever-present smile was somewhat there.

Ah. So Anise was all grown up now was she? This place was indeed odd. First he met himself and now Anise, who seemed be wearing some pink version of the Fon Master's outfit. or some variation thereof. He admitted to being somewhat perturbed by this, but if he could meet himself, Anise could somehow be a Fon Master, he supposed.]

Anise.

[She noticed how he regarded her, distant at best. She offered him a friendly smile but knew it probably wouldn't do much for the situation itself.]

I see we know each other but not quite. May I ask about your wardrobe choice?

[She was rather curious about it, knowing it had to have some significance to the man if not a lot. Though knowing how the man usually worked it may take a long time to get the answer from him, but she was willing to play such game to satisfy her curiosity.]

[He didn't really react to the smile much past just staring at her and raising a brow, as if asking her to continue with her little greeting.]

It's an insignificant detail. Though yours is a rather easy guess.

[It wasn't a hidden fact that Jade was an intuitive man, nor was it a hidden fact that he was a pain to get information of any kind from.]

Her smile turned playful despite the ~~stink eye~~look he gave her.]

How unfair~ Though if my outfit didn't give away my position I'd have to wonder about the person in question.

[Even if she did consider the long dress to be a pain to her. She could barely move gracefully and Lorelei forbid she show her ankles around the Maestros.]

Ah, in that case, as it was explained to me that we're in a Nexus of sorts that relates to Auldrant and different times and dimensions of it. Which one can tell easily just by looking at us~

Jade seemed to hold a rather bored expression. He adjusted his glasses.]
