[he's sitting in the kitchen, face buried in his hands. and he's sneezing sometimes. Yes, he's got a cold. No he won't admit it.]

But I'm not tired... [does it anyway because he fears the motherly glare]

Don't whine at me. [ walks over once he's in the bed, leaning down all stealthy like to place nia far enough from him, but still on the bed. ] Don't worry, she cried all night. She won't be waking up any time soon.

I'll be right back~ ♥ [ and off she goes without waiting for any protests, headed toward the kitchen. ]

[okay, he's going to stare at the baby for now because it feels awkward to have someone take care of him again like his mother once did] Heh... [shakes his head and buries his face in the pillow]

[ soon enough returns with a magical bowl of steaming soup and a mug on a tray, a triumphant smile on her face. ] I'm back.

[looks at Gai and smiles] Welcome back. [would comment on the smell of the soup if he could smell something ;;]

[ gives him a smile of her own, kicking the door closed and making her way to the bed. ] Sit up, and I'll put it in your lap. [ she's totally babying him faslddjlfk. ]

[and he's kind of enjoying it, just a little bit] Thanks Gai. [smiles and sits up, careful not to disturb Nia]

[ carefully sets the tray in his lap. ] There you go. I hope the soup is all right... I actually made it yesterday for myself to eat for a couple of days and share it with whoever wanted it. And both it and the tea are hot, so be careful.

Thanks for the warning. And thanks for sharing this with me. [rubs his eyes a bit before taking a spoonful of the soup] Don't you want to eat something too? [words are muffled from behind the spoon]

[ gives a shrug. she leans down to the bed again, lifting nia back into her arms and taking a seat in her place. ] It's all right.

...alright. [eats a bit up the soup before going over to warming his hands on the cup of tea]

How did you manage to get sick, anyway?

...I was reading a book outside and I fell asleep. When I woke up, it was night and it was raining. [gives her a sheepish look]

That's not good! You could get really sick that way.

I know. But I'm alright for now, right? Right. [smiles] Don't worry about me, I think I'll survive a cold.

You had better. I'm here to take care of you now, anyway.

[blushes a bit and rubs the back of his head] ... [doesn't know what to say about that]

No I'm not. [denial, your name is Guy]

[ gives a tiny laugh. ] It's not like it's a bad thing.

I know but... [can't help it] It's ju-- [sneezes and starts coughing]

[ frowns a little. ] And you tried to play off that you weren't sick...

What were you saying, though?

[mumbles something]

I was about to say that I can't help it. [hides his face in a pillow]

Hmm...? Now I'm curious.
