[There's a Luke with bone glasses wandering around in your town, ADR! Though you'll probably hear him before you see him. Luke's got a massive text book on the advanced uses of fonons tucked under one arm, while his other hand is pressed against his stomach, whimpering as it grumbles impossibly loud.]

Aaaannnh... I need food... I wish there was someone around here I could eat...

[No, seriously, you heard that right. Where the hell is Dist when you need him? It's not like anyone will miss him!]

A certain devil is lazing about in a tree, minding her own business when she hears the grumble and comment...

Wait...did he really just say he wanted to eat someone? A mischievous smile showed up on her lips as she gazed down at the young man who made the comment.]

And just how would you have said person~?

[Luke pauses at the question, letting his mind wander instead of actually questioning who was asking it.]

Mmm... just the soul; a young or young at heart soul is the tastiest...

[...and logic finally struck his brain and he looked up, blinking in surprise.]

Oh, hey! It's you! [He waved enthusiastically. He remembers you! <3]

A young soul, how different~♪

[Anise is surprised at the enthusiasm, not many people are happy to see her aside from her Master. After leaning forward a bit more to study him, her eyes lit up.]

Eh?! It's you! You're different now! More complete! What happened? I don't feel that you're in turmoil anymore!

[This was a rather strange coincidence, she looked brimming with excitement as she hopped down from the tree and pattered up to him. She was definitely in his personal bubble zone as she gazed up at him with curious red eyes, hoping for a few answers.]

[Luke knelt down so they were eye level, a happy grin on his face as he let her poke and prod where she wanted.]

A lot happened for me since my past self met you.

[He adjusted his glasses proudly.]

[Dem glasses, so sharp.]

Eh? But that was only a few days ago...

[Did a time slip occur? Regardless, she pokes gently at the glasses, noticing at how they were attached. He was such a curious being at times, she still wished to explore his world more.]

So things are better, yes?

For you, yes. For me, it's been a year and a half. Time works in strange ways in places like this, seeing as it's allowing myself and my past self to coexist.

[He stayed very still for her, a grin working up onto his face.]

Yes, much better. [He pressed a hand over his chest.] It feels much better not having two sides of myself fighting for dominance.

Such a strange place, I should probably keep a better eye on Master so he doesn't slip away.

[The demon smiled softly, glad to see everything was better...Even if she was still sore about their deal gone sour. A wicked gleam then sparkled in her eyes, she still owed him something and she finally had something he may want.]

So I heard you were hungry~ I was able to go hunting yesterday♥

[With a flick of her finger, a wisp of black smoke formed, soon turning into an ornate bird cage with ten different souls floating around.]

I'll let you have two. One to return the favor and the other as an apology.

[Luke practically drooled at the sight of the souls, before he paused, giving her a worried look.]

Um... these weren't taken from anyone we know, right?

Of course not!

[Then again, Anise doesn't know who you know...Though to clarify.]

I stepped into another dimension to have a little fun♥

[Luke considered a moment, before he grinned. Well, it should be fine. He inhaled, carefully plucking two souls out of the cage and sucking them into his mouth.]

Mm...

Is it to your liking~?

[The devil grinned before making the cage disappear into thin air, glad she was able to pay him back. She liked when things were even...or at least tilted to her side of the scale.]

[Luke nodded in approval.]

Thanks. That'll keep me going for awhile.

[Anise clapped her hands together, looking rather pleased with his answer.]

I'm glad~♥

[She then poked curiously at the book in his arm]

So what are you researching this time around~?

Just catching up on the things I missed out on at Auldrant. Fonic theory and all.

Oh my, how diligent~! Should I leave you alone to study then?

It's all right. I was just saving this for later anyway.

[It's perfect bedtime reading, you know. Nevermind a human would probably have trouble lugging such a big book around one handed.]

Oh really~? Did you want to play then~?

[Play. Such a loaded word when it comes to a devil such as herself.]

[Indeed; forgive the wary look, Anise.]

What... did you have in mind...?

[Nah, it's cool. She gets that a lot regardless.

Anise tapped her chin in thought, not many people liked the games she played(for obvious reasons).]

Hmm, I'll let you chose~

[Luke let out a faint chuckle, adjusting his glasses.]

You'll forgive me, but I don't know of many games these days, especially ones that you would enjoy.

[...though you probably would enjoy the more gruesome side of science...]

What would you suggest?

[The girl grinned in a rather wicked way.]

Come now Luke, what do you think I'm into~? But I suppose we could do something juvenile, I'd hate for Master to get mad if I accidentally killed someone while trying to having a bit of fun.

[Luke smiled himself; hey, his moral compass was better adjusted, but not completely fixed.]
