[Asch is in the kitchen yet again, this time holding a bag of ice up to his cheek and eye, face blank as he does so]

[hides his face against her, silent]

*rubs his back*

...Will you hold me?

*moves to do so*

[clings tightly to her]

*rocks him*

[snuggles]

... *hums softly, trying to remember what she's heard of the Fonic Hymn*

[snuggles close when she starts, relaxing a bit]

*continues humming*

[keeps snuggling, starting to doze off]

*keeps rocking, humming*

[relaxes completely, almost entirely asleep]

*keeps going, not happy until she's putting him to bed because he's completely asleep*

[it doesn't take him long to get to that point, but he's attached himself to her in a way that may make it a bit difficult to put him down]

... *well, if that's the case... she just lays down in bed with him*

[shifts slightly when their position's changed, but then snuggles closer again and falls back asleep]

*just stays like that, falling asleep herself*
