...Why can't you just make him go away? He's bigger than me, he can be on his own. His Asch doesn't want him to live with us anyway... He told me himself.

[pulls him into a hug] Could you honestly wish that pain onto someone else? And would you wish that pain onto me and Luke? Because that is how we would feel if we lost either of you... we've already had to lose Luke once... I doubt we could survive losing one of you again.
